Obama was basically the 3rd and 4th term of George Bush. On certain issues, though, Obama was an even bigger totalitarian warmonger than Bush. But looking at the big picture, the biggest difference was rhetoric and perception (90% of American politics is rhetoric and perception). Also, the media gave Obama more of a pass on the terrible s#it he did. It's hilarious when I point out that the ACLU sued the Obama administration for his border policy (nearly identical to Trump) in 2014. Their heads almost explode.
