Wow, that one brings back some memories. To me, that cigar had strong notes of butter, nuts and earth. Very, very unique.

Well, it pays to be a hoarder (that's with an H...) as I have quite a few of those mentioned so not missing them yet. Whistle

Some of the original RP cigars were very good. Haven't bought any of his newer smokes in years..

I do miss the Tatuaje RC 184.

Thunder Gerbil, that term is reserved for anything 60 ring and above. I have no problem with smaller ring gars, 40’s and 30’s are fine too. But my favorite are 52-55

I cannot believe you guys let this slide this long.

Cathcam the small ring gauges we speak of are yesteryears small ring gauges..........I'm gonna say 46 and down.I understand in today's cigar world anything under 60 is small to some.Back in the day anything over 50 rg was somewhat rare........and I wish it still was today. My favorite vitola is the corona gorda,5 5/8x46,not what some of these jackwad cigar makers label their jawbreakers(CG).52-55 is in no way small ring gauge.......not now not ever in my opinion.

Oh yea.......one more shout out to Nick,BRING BACK THE PERDOMO2 TORFECTO's ORIGINAL BLEND.

Let's not forget Camacho Negro's..........my poor man's PAM.Damn these were good.Only Camacho that ever truly intrigued me.

+100,000,000

The Perdomo2 were one of my favorites, use to be able to get them here for about $2 each. Red band, Yellow band.

My favorite in that line was the Perdomo2 Maduro Torfecto. Might have a few left deep down in the tuperdors. I'll have to go diving one of these days.

Age has been WONDERFUL to them. They went from mediocre to very, very good.

Too bad nobody can get any more, ever again.

I wonder if any of these old blends will come back if the FDA regs hold and the only new releases will be grandfathered re-releases. Likely will not be the same as remembered of couse.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this one yet but La Reloba Sumatra. Ashing my last one right now and they are so good for what they went for on here (think they were between $2-$3).

I think I remember reading that the brands must have been CONTINUOUSLY sold in the marketplace since before the grandfather date.

That'd mean that anything that went off the market at any time after that date would NOT be grandfathered anymore.

Also, I believe I read that the blend must remain basically the same, or it'd lose the grandfathered status.

Sort of. The company was sold and production moved to the DR. The cigars are no longer called Muniemaker.

Still available on line and maybe in stores. A friend of mine brought a few over a few months ago. Many moons ago they were one of my smokes along with Topstones - which are also getting hard to find. Others unseen in a while - Judges Cave and Farnum Drive.
