Herfing hello every one thank you for taking the time out if your day to read this, I'm semi new to really getting into the hobby of pipe and cigar smoking. I really enjoyed the 5 vegas series and San cristobal, so my question is with enjoying a more medium to full bodied cigar is there something out there I should try over say something like a RP or montecristo? So far one if the best cigars I've smoked has been AJ Fernandez "new world" and My Fathers "The Judge" shoot me some ideas that I could try out and any thoughts you may have on buying a decent sized humidor both travel and home.

Thanks
Robby

Don't buy boxes of anything..............for at least a year.
You like the 5 Vegas......good......they're generally pretty cheap.
I will bet you won't be buying them 2 years from now, because your palate will evolve, and they won't taste all that great.

Read through this and other Forums, learn how to set up a cooler, or plastic tub, etc.
Learn about beads, and Bovedas, and the like.
Beads used with Bovedas has been my favorite setup.

Have fun............cigars are one of the great pleasures in life.

Cigars to try? Too many to list.
But, I'd just pass on any RP, Gurkhas, Greycliff, and the like.

Most of AJs stuff is pretty decent.
Oliva makes good, not too spendy cigars......Master Blends 3 is a staple for many of us here.
Almost anything from DPG, LFD, Padron maddies, many different Fuentes, Tatuaje, Crowned Heads, Illusione, and so on.

Maybe get in on a noob trade in a few months.

Yeah, definitely stick to fivers and singles. Try to keep buying down to the absolute minimum that you need to keep on hand for at least 6 months. What you like now will change in six months, and will probably change again a year from now. Try as many different wrappers, countries, brands, as you can.

Forget about more expensive is better, online reviews, ratings, high MRSP cigars at huge discounts, and just smoke what YOU like. Wait at LEAST six months before you start filling up your cooler. Just this noobs opinion. Good luck and welcome.

Just remember 2 things:

2. Guys who like the Michigan Wolverines are dink’s.
