Good evening soul brothers. Last Sunday I tried a new cigar for me and boy it was more satisfying than hearing Patti Labelle sing me to sleep.

I picked out an alluring new cigar brand called JFR. I selected a nice thick one, with a lustrous, thick and ‘toothy’ Maduro wrapper. What can I say. Just an outstanding smoke. Rich, woody, with perfect proportions of sweet notes and spice. What a draw. Billowing clouds of smoke that gushed out of the cigar. I must say, in terms of pure, easy-draw puffability it rivals and maybe even surpasses the great CAO Brazilia or Partagas Black.

My only criticisms is the cigars price point and that the band artwork is lackluster. They also seem to be going for a patriotic theme with the JFR name being similar to JFK and the stars on the band.

On my cigar podium, the JFR Titan Maduro has earned a rightful bronze medal and can stand shoulder to shoulder with 2 giants, Brazilia and Partagas.

You should try the XT Maduro. I'm also confident that the JFR Lunatic would fit your size dreams.

If you're talking cigars and the word "Titan", nothing can beat the top-shelf bliss of the Phillies Titan. Notes of burning newspaper and a hint of tire fire. Pure heaven!

While it's good, of course nothing beats the Partagas Black and CAO Brazilia, especially when paired with grape Kool-Aid, a 40-ouncer of Colt 45 malt liquor, or a snifter of Night Train.

I think I once had a JFR (just for retailers, though available on line now) that the guy at my shpo threw in years ago when I asked what they were...I could be wrong but I seem to recall the very dark wrapper was dyed. He wasn't enthusiastic about the chances I would really like it, and I don't remember thinking all that highly of it either.

Oh well. That's why they make chocolate and vanilla I guess.

It's a Casa Fernandez line. I've tried two of his others, Aganorsa Leaf and Miami, neither of which made me turn off Patti Labelle...

^I enjoyed the Aganorsa Leaf, but haven't tried the Miami.

You would be correct..........you don't travel the world to seek out the nearest Mickey D's once civilization is reached.I've eaten some nasty looking stuff that tasted amazing.......however camel schit fermented in cat piss was not one of them.
