For what ever reason I seem to have better results with the Federal over the Remington .22 rounds.

Ruger Mark II and S&W Victory.

Don't get me wrong, I still shoot Remington if that is what I get the best buy on at the time. After all we are talking .22 caliber. There will always be some mis-fires and mis-feeds, just the nature of the .22 IMO.


Also have a 10/22 that I don't shoot that often but do concur that it would make a good bug out weapon as well as the Mark II.

I love all the aftermarket 10/22 furniture you can get. Mine has taken out thousands of ground squirrels. I wish .17 HMR was similarly priced. Thanks for the heads-up, Mr. J!
