Several days ago, I put a bid in for five "fiver" lots where there were 10 total available. Put in the starting bid and my maximum.
I was the first person to bid and, for several days, was the ONLY person who had a bid.
Now, others have bid and, although it has not reached my maximum bid price yet, i am THIRD on the list of 5 bidders, with someone who has bid on one lot and someone who has bid on two lots "ahead" of me on the list, such that, if the bids go high enough- but do not take up all 10 at a bid higher than my max - I would lose some or all of my lots BEFORE these other bidders, even if our maximum bids were the same.
In other words, if someone came in and bid on 7 of the lots at a price higher than our maximum bids, the way the rankings are right now, I would get none of the lots and the the two people who bid AFTER me would get theirs.
Way not fair. I was the first bidder and as long as my high bid is high enough, I should not lose a "tie" to people who bid after me
Now I am, not talking about a situation where these other people have a higher maximum bid than me and the bids go that high so I fairly lose, I am talking about where there are lots that eventually sell at or below the maximum I put in. In that case, since I was first, I should get my lots before the later bidders regardless of what their (never needed) maximum might have been.
