Another great one received from a trade with stinger. You, sir, have made this holiday season extra special for me with the selection of cigars you sent.

Thanks, David!!!

Marcus

Glad you are enjoying them Marcus.

Still one of THE best, all around ten buck or less cigar. And yes, they are one of the rare CC's that will smoke quite good after a few months and especially with just a year of age. Always pleases and never seems to disappoint. Reminds me that I need to go digging for a few. I'm trying to hold off on my buying. I'm at the point where I wonder if I can outlive my whiskey and cigar inventory!

Trinidad Vigia, think these are 17, but so far, been underwhelmed. Had at least two duds and one so under filled I had to wonder how it made it past QA. Only had one that made me "that's a Trinidad", this one may as well be a Quintero Favorito.

Unfortunately, not Quintero pricing.

Hey, I resemble that Quintero remark, LOL! I actually enjoy the Petit q's and Favorito's with a couple years age. Never had much trouble with them. Then again, I will also smoke the Belinda and Guantanamera tubos, BWAHAHAHAHA!

I haven't been buying much over the last 2-3 years, I still have PLENTY!! But, I've helped off on the Trini Vigia's, based on ring gauge and the recent inconsistent quality of the Trinidads I did buy over the past couple of years. A box of Fundadore comes to mind. Just didn't taste right and I think they are from older stock?!?! Now, I'm gonna have to go upstairs and look!

Numi, I've had great luck with the Fundadores, so much so that I picked up multiple boxes over the past year or so. These Vigias have just not been with it, the Fundys have consistently blown them out of the water. It wouldn't be so bad, but that pricing....

Count me among those that have enjoyed the Favoritos, enough that I picked up two boxes in a recent sale. For the price, you can't complain, and sometimes you'll get a few that really surprise you.

I'm hoping that I just got a bad one or two. I left the box alone for about 6 months now, I need to revisit one of the Fund's.

Smoking a Petit Quintero as I type, need to check the date, they seem to be as or more consistent than the favoritos, at least the last couple of bundles I had, and yes the price is hard to beat.

I got a steal on some ERDM's on the last order, one of those deals that only pops up as you are completing your order. Great price, and the SCDLH El P's that just came in were from Nov 17 and had some light plume on the top layer!!! I love those little cigars.

HAd to try one, SCDLH EL Principe Nov 17. I can smoke these on a regular basis, and they are good whether fresh or with a year's age, the longer the better, I guess, but they never make it that long around me, hehe

Last night, SLR DC. So happy I picked up a cab when I did, what with them being sorta-kinda-not-really-but-really discontinued. Was a semi-impulse purchase, and a couple years has been working wonders on them.

In EXACTLY the same boat, LOL! I was lucky to have been buying a variety and the cab of SLR DC's were one of THE best buys I made! AND, yes, sadly, I have not seen them since. I gave away a few, so some others have had the chance to enjoy.

I think mine is from 11 or 12, need to dig and check, then pull one out, I just hate smoking them up.

Punch Punch from a cab EAG NOV 13

Still got wonderful flavors and IMHO have a few more years to peak. Last third was still spicy! I have a box of 25 that I haven't tried yet. Curious to see how they each age out.

couple a years ago I had a box of 2014 and 2008...the 08's didn't lose it but were not as good as the 2014's...in my opinion.
