Congrats to Mrs Opel. Went in for a few hours today. One son in England, the other out with his girlfriend and Mrs Monkey gone horse showing. Too cold and rainy for a smoke, don’t have an interest in NFL. Ok, I’m bored.

Grabbed 3 hours sleep after work and then took boy up to Chicago boat show. He fell asleep on the drive to the train station, and the drive home from the train station, but the rest of the time he was pretty stoked.

I was craving a cheap beer after being around boats all afternoon, but not willing to pay $7 for a glass of cheap beer at the place so I stopped and bought a 40 of Mickeys on the way home.

Ate dinner, put boy to bed, opened the 40. Now I'm really wanting to head to the garage with a cigar, but my tobacco test is on Tuesday so I can't.

Really sucks since DED hammered me yesterday and I really want to dive into that box

My NFL Misery Insurance policy is paying off!

Bet Indy and Dallas with the points.

My Chiefs win and the Cowboys lose, for the price of $20?!

Winning!

7-7 when we left for the dog walk, come back to 35-7 at the half?

No highlight package to see what happened.

Best result of the day being Spurs getting beat. Congrats, Smokemonkey.

Watched enough of the morning game to know MACS thought the chargers would win... Now I'm trying to channel my inner danm and knock out a bunch of projects I've been putting off...

I'm not a gambler. I went 0-4 the first week and figured I'd pick the teams I wanted to lose to win. It's been working...

I’m trying not to be too optimistic, but 6 wins on the trot make that hard.

No rush to decide. I’m rooting for Ole to keep up the good work and make it hard to not hire him, but I like Poch. I’m not sure Zidane is a builder, but if we build the right team he would be a great fit.

Monday morning I wake up
With a hammer in my hand
The boss-man yelling something at me
That I don't understand
I don't know how I got to work
But I sure know I'm there
I'm old enough to know better
But I'm still too young to careWhistle

Well, for starters, I could have enough money in the bank to do what I want... and not have to go to work.

Mornin' dudes... and g'night.
