Greetings all,

I’ve been stalking the forum for entertainment for a while now and felt I should at least say Hi officially. So, I’m a reformed 2 decades cigarette smoker. I was shown a flavorful new light on vacation almost three years ago. I’ve been kicking myself ever since over those years wasted on stale, chopped, fire cured tobacco bits. I’m now on a lifelong quest to sample every single type of cigar in existence. Found Cbid about a year and a half back, coincidentally at the exact time I discovered a startling lack of impulse control, and have been happily bursting beyond storage capacity ever since. Looking forward to meeting whomever I might and wish you all a warm weekend (wish may be geographically pointless for some of you).

Prerequisite info:
Name - I think it’s visible already. Real name in the profile for anyone really curious
Rank - Low
Serial Number - Kellogs, occasionally General Mills…wait, wrong serial...moving on
Always pancakes unless the waffles are constructed entirely of bacon.
Love camping. I camp out on the front porch or back deck as often as possible, warming in the piercing glare of my wife's through the window.

Prerequisite Questions:
What’s with all the overbidding, huh?
Do I store cellos on or off?
How do I get my platinum membership?
Who wants to send me their Padron Anniversaries to try? I’ll gladly trade my finest Quorums and Cuban Rounds.

Prerequisite disclaimer:
I tend to be very streaky in any online social forum. Can range from incessant daily jabber to weeks of complete silence. Please know it’s nothing personal. I just get easily distracte…OOHH, SQUIRREL!!!

Welcome aboard... for once, a newb who did his homework.

And you seem semi-literate, too. Bonus points.

Subtract said points for a wrong answer... waffles rule.

Thanks, No actual Turkish prison but have attempted to replicate one in the neighborhood with other like-minded enthusiasts.

Appreciate the literacy recognition. Cost me near $80k for a paper certifying my ability to read, write, and regurgitate. Now finally putting those skills to use

well, a year and a half and you didn't write, you didn't call, but your mother and I are relieved to know you're OK....

Sweet Jesus! forgot the long walks question. Absolutely and even consider them romantic if the voices join me.

Rarely enough funds to neither wad nor fold, and when I do, another 5 pack and it's gone.
Cats - due to my inherent laziness in caretaking
Bagels - I don't gravitate towards sweet things, excepting the aforementioned wife. Please tell her I said that. She's still glaring
Chicken - that's what the coin flip said
Proud to say never a White Owl in my life. B&Ms, DMs, Swishers, Phillies, and Backwoods, but no Owls. So couldn't say
Thin - trying to cut down on carbs
Rare - Juice adds flavor
Dry/wet - entirely dependent on the situation

Thanks and coincidentally one of my favorite go-tos, excepting the Insidious

No Pack No! Once that far west you should be prohibited from Wisconsin fanaticism

Definitely a nice place to visit. Recommend you wait a couple months. Somewhat delayed winter is in full effect now

Man, I am impressed. A Newb that done a proper introduction! Applause

Welcome to the goober farm Dan.

As for your question of "How do I get my platinum membership?" Lots of cuppie cakes for Shauna and a camping trip with Z to the river. Although, he might take you up on that long walk on the beach in place of the camping trip. Anxious

Been to my buddy’s place in Gurnee back in November ‘93. Went to Chi-town to sightsee, eat dinner and then bar hopped. Drove to Milwaukee the next day to watch the Packers play Detroit.

Our son is a Bears fan (...where did I go wrong? Brick wall ...).

Thanks all for the welcome.

DrafterX - I haven't

Corey Sellers - I'll get to the PIB at some point. Just dipping my pinky toe in the waters her at the moment.

tonygraz - I've been called that and worse by many over the years. Have at it

danmdevries - It's looking that way. I'm Valpo. Where are you?

Rman - Grew up in the country. Always Maryann over Ginger

Palama - I've learned that children were placed on this earth to test the limits of parents' sanity. I raised mine on classic rock and metal and now he's strictly rap and electronica

A Bears fan that like camping, pancakes and bacon.......

You might skip the waiting line for camping trips.

Welcome aboard weirdo, you might have what it takes to stick.

Then I'd say definitely neighbors. I've been to 1101 in Schererville a couple of times for their Ezra Zions but my usual haunt is the Golden Leaf in Hobart

Locals coming out of the woodwork. What's your city drafter? The wife grew up in that area. I'm actually a naturalized Hoosier. Spent my first 18yrs in central Ohio. Though not sure I can still claim naturalized status after another 24yrs spent around here

Nah, just a not quite clever play on words to slip PG-13 cursing into the mix. Thought I was brilliant with this until I saw a t-shirt with the same, so just sad and pathetic. That said, call me whatever suits you. I'm flexible

The question was about your habits with toilet paper. But iffn' you use funds more power to you.
