Finally got around to Making a Murderer.
The only thing my brother in law asked for for Christmas was an Avery Auto Salvage shirt....so I figured we'd better see what all the fuss was about.
Wow. Tough to watch only because my wife is getting so pizzed, she's going to start throwing chit at the tv.

I'm on this one too. Interesting, but slow. They jam 15 minutes of good content into a 47 minute show.

Avery Auto Salvage only 30 miles away. Once I get withing about a mile from the place, I get the creeps. Nothing to do with the inbred Avery clan. The chance of getting pulled over by a Manitowoc county cop.

#508 ^^^ stieny...

BAD BLOOD WAS W.E.A.K. in the first episode...

E.A.C.H. SUBSEQUENT episode gets weaker and weaker...
Then the heads start to roll and about every 10 minutes in episodes 3-6 "somebody gives somebody else an
Ultimatum"...
#likedoyouunderstand
#dontyoueverdothatagain
Or #ifyoueverdothisagain
Or #hepaidhisduesanddidhistimesoyoushouldtrusthimtoo

Bad Blood is such a BOOOOOOOOOO-SHHHHH LEAGUE
CRIME DRAMA shot in Canada to save money...several actors are decent ...but the writers are so bad and the story lines so predictable....I CAN GUESS WHAT EVERY NEXT LINE COMING UP WILL BE AND I FIGURE OUT THE ENTIRE EPISODE PLOT TWISTS AND TURNS by 3 minutes in....

Marcella - It's good! Finished both seasons in about 2 weeks. British detective going through a divorce and other psychological things, she solves some pretty eerie murder cases. Can't wait for the 3rd season.

Thanks for that, now I've got "Simple Minds" playing in my head. I was on a Facebook sabbatical. I hope that doesn't ruin my Cbid forum cred?

You and I started our Cbid journey the same month and year. You had the good sense of getting a life.

Bill Burr stand up. Funny guy. Hard to believe he hasn't been sent to a feminist run, re-education camp- never to be seen again.

Hired Guns - documentary about session/rental/tour musicians. Not bad....feels like a vehicle to slam Billy Joel as much as anything, but some feel good Rock Star-like stories. Billy Joel and Matt Kuchar should compare notes....oh and the dickhead from Filter...always wondered why they didn't make it huger... now I know

Keith Richards- Under the Influence....not worth the hour...unless you are a Richards fanatic...

A few episodes of Deep Undercover -- fascinating subject....to me....stories of undercover operations..cops, feds, etc. Lots of so-so reenactments...and not a lot of psych detail you can get in an hour, but interesting

Mastermind -- comedic telling of a true story heist -- well done

More music stuff:
-The Other One: Long Strange Trip of Bob Weir -- pretty well done -- esp if you're a Dead fan
-27: Gone Too Soon - Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain, etc....sux
-Now More than Ever: History of Chicago - excellent -- I only planned to watch half, since I totally lost interest in one of my favorite groups around Chicago X -- but this tells a good, somewhat unvarnished story of how they tanked so far, so fast -- interesting that Peter Cetera declined to participate....though he might get outsized blame since he doesn't defend himself

Another British miniseries....they sure do great 6 to 12 parters:

Traitors - by the end you are pretty much disgusted with every official (and not quite official) entity in the years following WWII.
Very well done.
