Maybe I spoke too soon.
Looks like the Patriots defense really is the best defense of the four remaining teams.
Shutting out the chiefs?
Andy Reid not exactly known for making adjustments...

Fringin Pats......too many good players.......experienced good players.........and that Sony Michel (sp?).......slippery and quick, with good vision.

Who would have thought the playoffs is when the chiefs defense starts to play better and the offense falls apart.

Well ****. I went though way to much bourbon, a can of chew, and I think it might have holes in my socks from my pacing across the condo floor.

yep, fun.

Reid kills me. 3 T.O.s, defense sucking wind, ball inside the 5...must be saving them for next year's preseason games.

What is it about facing Coach Bill that causes other coaches to get cramps?

You are spot on. He should have used a timeout.

Inexcusable!
He should have used them before that even imo.
Blitzing Brady typically isn’t a good move, but when he’s ripping your defense a new one, ya have to try it once and a while to get him uncomfortable.............then you have a chance to get the ball back.........maybe.

In the two NYG-NE Super Bowls, the Giants blueprint was to rush 4, cover with 7. Of course easier said than done. Not every team has 6-8 DL to rotate in, let alone 4 solid pass rushers that can also defend against the run.

rushing him up the middle seems to be the best chance as Brady is even worse now at stepping out of the pocket to either side...and it hinders his ability to step into the throw.

But this offensive line has really become dominant the last few games, running game has been ripping it up and Brady hardly gets touched anymore. Chargers didn't get near him either, and they play a lot of 7 men back.

Chargers didn’t change the scheme or personnel from the week before so Pats had time to game plan. And, then LAC didn’t adjust when it was clear that the Pats were gonna smashmouth their smaller personnel. Football, at all levels, is won (...or lost...) with in-game adjustments (...or lack thereof...).

While I may not be a Pats fan, I do appreciate the coaching brillance of Bill and his staff. Applause

NFL OT rules suck! Each team should get atleast one possession, atleast in the play-offs😡

agree w chazbo, at least for the playoffs...both teams get a shot, even if first team scores TD...

hope the Pats don't cheat the "Rams" this time...they're good enough as it is...

ps....didn't really care then, since they were the S.L. "Rams"....

sure hope it's Michel, White and Burkhead cryin after the game, and not Gurley-Anderson...

not sure if any of the S.L. "Rams" will be there...those guys are still mad at Kroenke for moving the team back to L.A.
