Honestly, the VX2 is great, you'll love it. Not too shallow, not too deep. The V is not too narrow, or too wide, either. Large, heavy, great-looking and great-feeling piece. Spring-loaded action is smooth and responsive, and you have to press both releases simultaneously, so no accidental openings. Cuts smoothly and nicely.
Find one cheap. I see them on the "Scary" discount site that's run by the "Very Well-Known" cigar company pretty often.
Get either the red or the gunmetal finish though. Trust me. They blow the other finishes away. The red looks like a clear-coated metallic red sports car paint job, gorgeous, and the gunmetal is like a slightly gray-tinted mirror finish. Also gorgeous.
