The judge had little of that, slapped a massive fine on them. The fed sent money as well. They've been cleanings the river now for almost a decade. It's beginning to take shape, with some way to go.
Sounds like GP or Weyerhauser, I was once in the paper/packaging/printing with THE largest paper/packaging company in the world, (at that time, they sold off, etc., and eventually James River Corp was no more, it might be GP, now).
I had to travel to Wisconsin Rapids to visit one of the paper plants, multiple times, in January to boot!!!! I saw a fox walking across the frozen river, and told the salesman to stop. He lived in MN and loved coming over there to WI, he would always hit the Menominee Rez casino, hehe! He said it was the first time he's actually seen a fox in the wild. City boy.
