I saw her recent "town hall" speech.

1) She wants Medicare for all. But to make matters even worse, she wants to outlaw all private health insurance. At least in some European countries and Canada, you can purchase private plans to cover things that the government denies.

2) She wants to outlaw ALL semi-auto firearms. That would mean 90% of the 300,000,000 firearms in the hands of legal American gun owners. Of course, once they take the semi-autos, the revolvers, lever actions, bolt actions and pump guns will be next. All through out the last 100 years, leftist governments have first disarmed their subjects, before slaughtering dissidents with impunity. In fact, in the past 100 years, governments (mostly on the left) have murdered in cold blood over 169 million of their unarmed and helpless subjects.

3) She backs the Green Initiative. In other words, not only does she want to make it unaffordable to heat and A/C your home, she wants to, by 2029, outlaw the ownership of all private motor vehicles.

Yet the media lies and labels her as a "Moderate".

I'll say the same thing about Harris that I said about Cortez....dismiss her at your peril. My introduction to her was at the Kavanaugh hearings and I thought she was off the rails. I was wrong....she is a LOT more polished than I imagined. And she has a formidable following already....maybe not AOC Instagram level, but up there

I’m vaguely familiar with her. Have heard some discouraging things about her prosecuting days; believe she was more Hillary than Bernie until recently. She’s polished and seems to know what she’s doing because most of her policy positions are currently polling pretty well. At least the ones I’ve seen. I haven’t heard anything about the semi-auto stuff. Not sure what that’s about. That one sounds like a political loser to me.

It seems like the policy stuff is gonna be pretty similar on that side this time around, so it may come down to some identity stuff. She has a shot.

It's an extrapolation the mainstream media is making from a statement that she made specifically around "assault rifles".

Red State made the first assumption that she must be against all semi auto handguns because she said something about assault rifles...
After that, all the other MSM sites (the blaze, Reddit, your uncle's Facebook feed) picked it up and decided to claim she said that she wants to ban all semi auto handguns.
