City v. Arsenal.

Arsenal held them scoreless- for the first 48 seconds. Time for more flu medication.

Entire school systems shut down here due to the flu.My 12 year old granddaughters class of 28 had 5 students show on thursday. They also ran out of substitute teachers.......They're going to try to reopen tuesday or wednesday after the schools go through a thorough scrub down and disinfect.

Get well soon 8

Lakewood, New Jersey is so bad that my brother (pediatric) has a tent set up outside of his office for measles patients. Bunch of people are opposed to vaccines for religious reasons there.

If I recall the news this year was not the best vaccine. Still better than nothing, but didn't capture all the strains.

Group of idiot hippies in the super expensive suburbs of Marin here are not vaccinating. I believe measles is beginning to be a problem there as well.

All part of our country going back to becoming a 3rd world country.

different than measles, kids are contagious before they know they have it...and it's preventable.

Flu, even with a shot, the over/under bet usually goes to the under on flu shots. Hit or miss to prevent...but people keep their kids home or stay out of work (hopefully) at the first signs of having it.

Can't wait to go to bed. Only got to sleep an hour an a half after work, had to go do family birthday thing for 4 hours and didn't want to go to bed too early after that or I'll be up all night.

Gonna take a 40 minute cigar to the garage, have a beer, and then go to bed. Shooting for 7p, which means I'll probably be up at midnight.

Put my waders on and cleared the debris from the ditch in front of the house, and unplugged the neighbor's culvert downstream from me. The water was almost overflowing the ditches.

Went out to the back yard and cleared debris from the small drainage trench I cut through the back yard. Got several inches of standing water everywhere. All the snow's pretty much melted but the ground's still frozen, and it's raining.

Let the chickens out of the coop. They've been closed up for over a month from first a hawk problem, then the snow and stuff. Hopefully the hawks found another feeding spot.

Went to store and got everything on the shopping list. Dropped off several totes of recycling that's been piling up in the garage.

Been up 9 hours, I'm ready for a nap.
