Thanks, Chazz! He had his first treatment yesterday and doc said he did very well. While there won't be a long term cure we are cautiously optimistic that this will provide some relief and help him (and us) to enjoy the time he has left.

Ken, first of all, positive thoughts and prayers for Loki's treatment. Hope the subsequent sessions go as well as the first.

Secondly, thank you very much for the GREAT deals! ThumpUp

Wasn't looking to buy anything but you offered up deals too good to pass up on well-aged and HTF Fuentes, Tats and ISOM smokes. My nephew and friend Homer also really appreciate the opportunity to help as well as score some wonderful cigars. I'll be on the lookout later this week for the box and then distributing everyone's share.

Thanks again.

p.s. - for any of youse guys out there that haven't contacted Ken to see what else he has to "trade", you're definitely missing out. Frying pan

Brother, I am so sorry to hear. I do hope things go well with future treatments. The cost for this huge to say the least. This is what we had went through with Rocco so I know what y'all are going through.

I feel your pain man, my lab is a little over 10 now, but for almost half his life he's been battling valley fever (meds are expensive af).

The last time I took him, the vet told me he thinks he has some form of auto immune disease, so now I have to stuff 7 pills in a hotdog for him twice a day.

Earlier in life, he had to have a weird growth removed from him (that was pretty expensive too).

Poor guy got the sh*t end of the genetic stick.

My other dog? No problems at all, nothing, not once... she's almost 9 now.

I hope all goes well with your dogs treatments.

Thanks everyone! Your words of support are much appreciated. I realize this isn't a tragedy in the greater schemes of life, and a lot worse things happen to a lot of people. Just my little corner of the world at the moment. Those of you who have lost a pet/companion understand.

Had his first chemo treatment last week and it went well. Next one set in few more weeks.

Thanks again my B/SOTL!! You'all rock!

His next treatment is on 11/20. Should know more about how he's responding at that time.

Have to take him to Michigan State University every 3 weeks. Had his second treatment today along with a EKG. Who'd think of an EKG for a dog? Not me.

His lymph nodes have shrunk and his heart is strong so he should be able to handle the treatments! So far so good! Applause

Thanks to all for stopping by, and the good wishes for Loki! fog

Still have lots to offer so pm for a current list.

Ken,
First off, I hope Loki is responding well to the treatments, I know it's tough on the whole family when a friend is sick... hoping for good news soon!
Also I wanted to thank you for the great smokes I received last week, they all smell awesome, are all well aged and ready to smoke. If you fellas haven't contacted c3s yet, you should. Anejos, VSGs, Tats, Rocky OWRs and a variety of Viaje S&Bs... now, which one do I burn first? Think
Thanks, Ken!

Thanks, Marcus! Loki's had three treatments to date and is responding well. First few days after a treatment are a bit rough (ruff?) on him as it affects his appetite. Hard part is that to look at him you'd never know he was sick. I think he knows to. Sad

Thanks to all who stopped by.

Hope you and yours have a a very merry Christmas!

Thanks! He's had 4 treatments to date and while the cancer is in remission this is most likely a temporary solution. Crying

To look at him, you would never know he has lymphoma.

Thanks to all for the positive thoughts and good wishes. Special thanks to those who bought some smokes. This has been a big help in covering the cost of the treatments. Applause Applause

Anyone who has had the benefit of companionship with a canine knows about the love we give and get from these beautiful, non-judgemental friends. We were fortunate to have had Loki in our lives for the 6 1/2 years we did, no matter how short of time that was.

Thanks to all for your positive energy, thoughts and prayers. You all ROCK!

Sincerest condolences to you and your family Ken. When pets become family members, it is a terrible loss when they die...I'm sure he appreciates that you gave him a fighting chance...
