Gotta maintain deep reserves for scandal payouts. I do wish more companies had the balls to tell shareholders to "back off a little and let us focus on a future more than ten minutes out"

Yup. So many big companies are "preserving shareholder value" there isn't money being pumped back into infrastructure, like systems. Because of that, 14 year old Ukrainian hackers are getting at out data.

That said, fat cat execs make more getting fired than I'll make in my entire career.

Dividends seem to have gone down in general across the board over the past few years. I think that investing the money back into the company could be more beneficial for shareholders in the long run most of the time anyway.

woulda been a great idea for Google Mexico in the 20th century...

presently and going forward that would not fit their business model...global virtual omnipresence is the name of the game...
