Do they still make these? I remember when I first started here they could be had for less than $15/5er.... I'm sure some of you collectors still have several but I hadn't seen one in years...

My local found a really old box of both the Sumatra and habano and a box of cabaiguans... He left them at the price he had them at many many years ago ($7, $8, and $8 respectively)...

Smoking a Sumatra right now... The years have been kind.... I was never that impressed with them before, but as I sit here in the courthouse park - sunny, cold, and windy - this thing is smoking great...

I haven't heard that label in years, not sure if they were discontinued or not. Looks like a couple place have limited stock left though.

No, I don't remember the cigar, but the last time I had jury duty, I went to the designated smoking area outside the court house in Camden NJ. Mangey would have been kind. More like a freak show happening every few minutes.

I have or had 1 - a robusto tat - can't remember if I smoked it.

All the "beautiful people" avoid jury duty like the plague - maybe not good citizens tho. When I was on jury duty the people there didn't look too mangy tho not very fancy dressed. I ditched the suit after the first day. Most of the time I was excused after voir dire due to several past court appearances (civil suits).

Did a search here and DPN got one from someone named Dave in a 2012 bombing. ZRX also posted that he liked them back around that time.

Buy and hold, folks. With mild cigars aging tends to do nothing, but I've rarely smoked a stronger well-aged cigar that didn't improve quite a bit from when it was new.

Buy early and cheap, and reap the benefits later. Let's say it's 2023. Would you rather light up a cigar you just bought the same day for $12 that's "pretty good", or that same make/model of cigar that's now "wow, excellent" that you got in 2019 for $7.50 or $8, and that now due to natural human psychology "feels" like it's free?

(That's not even taking into consideration that that cigar might be banned before 2023 and all that's available are bland, weak, low-nicotine, FDA-approved blends for $18 and up due to punishing new cigar taxes).

These ARE the "good old days" you'll yearn for in the future. Act accordingly.

These along with 3 other older Tatuaje lines are not discontinued but are now being made in limited batches and are more of an event only kind of release

I just found that thread. I didn't know this cigar was a Tat, nor do I remember smoking it. BTW, that hit came from Grrrr609.

Damn Tony, that there’s the way back machine!

I got a box of the OR Sumatra here and went through them rather quickly....I remember gifting one to gimble in Portland when we beefed as he had some of the second release (different band design) and didn’t like the ones he got. He thought the OR was a bit better.

I am certain I won a few singles way back then, no memory of wrapper, probably robusto (pretty much what I bought the most of a decade ago) but couldn't tell you anything else.

Good weather and a better palate. Should put them on the front burner, since they are cello-less.
