Boo hoo!
Poor poor Wally World...
Just can't seem to stop pissing certain people off...over and over and over...

The latest "new offense" is due to profit and loss studies at several stores on Long Island , N.Y and in Virginia recently...

Certian items...as everyone knows is kept behind LOCKED GLASS DOORS at Wal-Mart and at some other stores too...
Baby Formula , firearm ammunition, GUNS,KNIVES, ETC..ETC..

BUT...
IN THESE STORES^^^????

IT's HAIR PRODUCTS OUTRAGE !!!!

ALL African American beauty and hair care products are alarm tagged with sticky strips and kept in locked glass cases while all other shampoo , skin creams and makeup are just sitting on open shelves and not under locked glass enclosures...

I personally agree with the complainers on this one instance but there is also something to be said for HARD FACT COMPUTER PRINTED THEFT AND LOSS REPORTS that backup the real $$dollars lost from shoplifting of these certain EXACT PRODUCTS VS. other exactly the same products that are unlocked...

Just curious about the "breakdown" of the BABY FORMULA STEALERS? MY GUESS IS IT IS
CAUCASIANS @ #1 vs others... but everybody agrees ...YA' GOTS' TO LOCK UP dat'
DARN BABY FORMULA...CUZ' IF YOUINS DONTS' IT JUST GROWS LEGS AND WALKS OUT THE DOOR FOR FREE....

Social Justice Warriors. Mainly hate filled Feminists who despise white males, and blame them for all of society's ills. A bunch of them where dressed in white at the SOTUA.

They are looney left bigots/racists. There a lot of bias in the looney left. If any company has a significant theft problem they initiate measures to eliminate the theft. This is just a logical buisness decision.

Dave, true feminists advocate equal rights and pay for women. I don't think there is a specific term that can be utilized to cover SJW'S.

I would agree there are people who hate white males and want to use us as whipping boys for all of their real problems and perceived problems.

I think part of the problem is that Obama legitimatized these groups of people when he turned the DOJ into his personal civil rights commission.

I hate the term cultural racism. Don't dare assume I have an inherant level of racism because I am white and I am male. I think this is a huge problem created by the looney left.

Spey. The term cultural racism has nothing to do with an individual person. That's why the term cultural is there. It doesn't assume anything about individual values. It is specifically about both the predominant culture as well as stereotypes regarding the culture in question.

And again... The term SJW is idiotic.

It's like calling someone a "law and order" candidate as an insult. It implicitly suggests that if that is the sort of thing you find insulting, that it is the antithesis of your personal values. Whenever someone uses SJW as an insult they are telling the world that they do not want social justice.

That's just a really dumb insult.

Hang on... Maybe I've been missing something all this time.... Have you guys been trying to insult Frank when you talk about his tripod?

... yeah... I heard JAP thrown around a lot when I went to college on the east coast. Coming from the West it was a shock to have to learn there was an entire culture I didn't know existed, and I was expected to have some stereotypes about them... :)

as you know, one can always find some member of any stereotyped group that matches up to what haters are looking to prove, even if the interaction consists of perfunctory exchanges.
But I must admit, The Lovely Caren always hated KMart, if only because she loved other "discounters" selection more. So I do say the punchline here and there just to make her groan.

wait! did I just call her cheap?

That would make any SJW broke..... double entendres intended.

And we see the NEW SJW getting upset over JAP. You know military folks often shorten words or use acronyms right? Nobody in my family who served in Asia at different times ever used that word in a derogatory manor, they used real derogatory words if they wanted to do that. I won’t use them because I find them offensive, and Asian women love me.

Be quiet chinless one. The adults are talking, and it's not productive when you don't know what you're even talking about. No one has referred to a shortened term. Frank and I are referring to an acronym..

? Victor, perhaps I am using the wrong term or misunderstanding a term. I thought there is a term that means people of a specific skin colors have an inherent racism/bias. Obviously this is a socially learned racism/bias. I thought I have heard Dr Cornel West use this term more than once.

Good luck Spey, Vick is gonna trip over reality to attempt insulting me. He cannot help himself, he really needs targets to feel complete it’s a personality disorder. It’s a very common thing for people who have high intelligence in one limited area and are narcissistic.

Why would spey need luck? He interacts in an honest and non confrontational manner. So I treat him in a non confrontational manner. I'm less charitable when it's someone who is historically confrontational, promotes ridiculous conspiracy theory level information, and hides a lack of a chin behind a scruffy little goatee.

Spey... I am not sure which term you'd be referring to... (Inherent racism? Maybe? I'd have to do some googling). My understanding is that cultural racism is more focused on a skew in the culture. Not something we would notice as white men, but something dealt with by minorities daily... All female sex symbols being white making little black girls feel like they can't be pretty... Or Asian men never being portrayed as masculine leading men... It's stuff not based on a single decision by one person but a trend caused by a massive number of tiny little decisions, individually none of which are really bad.

There does seem to be some weird crossover between cultural racism and a racism against a "culture" (this may have to do with imprecise use of language in social sciences)... Because there is also reference to being racist against a group as a culture (ie- "all blacks don't succeed because they don't value education" or "all Jewish women hate k-mart") I suspect the only way to differentiate between the two definitions would be through the context the term is used in.

I suppose the second use of the term would be closer to what you were referring to... So if someone heard you talking bad about Mrs tripod and referred to her as a JAP, then maybe they would use the term? Dunno.

It's called "policing the statistics". Each store has a loss/prevention department that will collect stats on the items stolen. They react accordingly.

Police departments do the exact same thing. And then when they "target" the statistics some people call it "racial profiling".

Hey MACS... I don't actually disagree with you. And I suspect that's the data that drives most of this.

But... Let's say you're a manager at a store in some suburb of Missouri... And you want to discourage shoppers of a specific ethnicity.... It isn't outrageous to think that someone may either manipulate the process (eg, set the cutoff for when something is locked right at the number where these products hit) or ignore it completely and just add those products to the list of things to lock.

I don't know if it happens. That would require access to the data. And I wouldn't accuse any individual of doing this without reason. But I can see how the set up is ripe for that sort of manipulation by someone who is in fact racist.

Honestly, I'm not sure who is complaining about this, Jones is the first I heard of it. So I dunno.

But yeah... Probably 98.2% of the time it's based on the loss stats.

Makes perfect sense. Except stats aren't data. And data isn't info. And an informed decision just might have predicted that losses due to really bad publicity can easily outstrip savings on non-shoplifted black hair products.
