I'm traveling to S Africa next month and I'm hoping someone can recommend a decent cigar shop in Cape Town?
Looking to pick up some variety of regional cigars while there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I used to own a place there. Long plane trip so I never went. Check back - I'll ask around. Water shortage there is virtually over from the last I heard.

Since you are in the southern hemisphere in South Africa, be aware that everything is reverse down there. Most importantly, you must light the cap and draw from the foot of the cigar. And you freeze your azz off when it's hot.

Google "Habanos.com"; La Casa del Habano to find authentic Cuban cigars anywhere in the world.

I believe he's referring to the Cradle of Humankind. Or maybe giving too much credit to whomever's alt is GNF.

A friend of mine that went there a few years ago said he didn't remember seeing a cigar store - even in the shopping center. There's a shop called Fidel's that supposedly carries a good selection of cigars in the Goodwood Mall.
