The original was a really great mild cigar. Version II were one of the absolute worst cigars I've ever had. Poorly rolled, nasty aftertaste.

Any opinions on the latest batch?

.
I don't buy or smoke Padilla anymore. I personally encountered too many large variations in quality for my liking, so I stopped buying them.

Maybe somebody else here can give you some info, though.

After Ernesto blasted internet cigar buyers and constantly filled his social media with high end sport & luxury car and female hottie rentals (both) I quit caring about his spiraling down hill cigars.

He can KMBA

Won a fiver in 2007. Can't tell what generation. Didn't get any more, so they must not have made a good impression. But, then I never was much of a fan, either. I recall a lot of praise for Miami 8/11, but I found them to be inconsistent as anything....one good one per fiver....nothing else that I remember as good

+1 on the Miami’s...
The old Series 68 Robs were good........for s while.......then went downhill........then Ernie discontinued the line.................then “brought them back”, after proclaiming he wouldn’t do so.......meh

Could you point me to the article where Ernesto blasted internet sales? I can't find it and I am curious what he said. I am more than willing to not support him if it is true.
Thanks

Wasn’t an article bro it was on Facebook and I’m not about to chase it down for you........you think I’m gonna make something up when I never really cared about him, but did follow him because I do enjoy supporting brands I enjoy? I used to smoke a few of his blends quite frequently.......first he started doing the big baller posts with cars and self employed models pretending to be Mr Big then that post.

FYI it was around the time Steve Saka blasted internet buyers who were mad about DE price increases if that helps (and you believe....I mean remember that too)

Wow, didn't mean for you to get your panties in a wad. Never implied I didn't believe you, I had googled it and couldn't find it. Just wanted to read what he had said.
I am not a Padilla cigar fan, never bought any but have smoked a few.

tell him what you think of Rocky...

Patel did seem courteous and amiable at the Cigar Fest in Las Vegas last November...but you basically can't be arrogant at those types of functions...

... his junior partner who shared a booth space with him, Hamlet Paredes, upstaged him with two of the most beautiful girls in revealing low cut tops, pouring free shots of tequila while bending over the shot glasses...I went back for another round, braving a 20 minute line...
