So fortunately the arrested the guy in the Coast Guard before he could kill a batch of people. For a president who has been very vocal about terrorism and rightly so, it is dissapointing that he has not denounced this guy, and praised the people that caught him.

Meh, so far the story says he is a white supremacist, made a so called hit list of democrats, visited white supremacist websites while at work and owned a few legal guns. Quite a few GWB, Obama and Trump haters have posted crap here about as bad. If there isn't more to what he has done, I'm calling this false news. If there is more to the story I'm listening.

In general, I do not see the point of requiring some public official to react to every crazy loser that is even remotely associated with the official. FWIW, it's the same for any party, though those that had their picture with or in any way associated with one of these crazies, e.g., Louis Farrakhan, deserve to be held accountable.

And he was a racist idiot who did what? Where’s the white privilege at, if he was mooslem they would have let him go further so we could lose some more Liberty in the name of security.

Z in terms of the fire power etc. I thought similar. I know folks with way more.

Late last night I watched something on the OKC bombing. I’d forgotten the assumptions that were widely made prior to figuring out who it was. It swings both ways but we generally get bent or excited depending on how our side is represented. It is possible to at least try to play it down the middle.

I don’t have a side here other than the shoddy way stories are portrayed.

OKC bombing is a dark chapter in this countries federal government

Wasn’t saying you did. Just saying history is littered with these things from all angles and we tend to pick and choose. We tend to use a microscope instead of a wide lense.

So the POTUS should openly denounce every wrong doing?

Or Speyside is "disappointed"?

Wife and I are up to 16 states visited now.

We had planned to do a mountains to sea trip in South Carolina this summer, but I heard that they were having problems with pirates and stuff. So idk...

We live in the eastern U.S... So time is an issue for us, bc we would rather not fly. Colorado, and several of the western states, is on our bucket list though. Ideally we would like to transition to Van/RV life when were older.

Gotta agree. World is full of nutjobs. I'm glad he's in jail but why give him any special attention?
Bury him in a hole and make him disappear.

HE HAD A MARLIN MODEL 60 .22LR rifle
And !!!! FOUR B.R.I.C.K.S.!!! OF REMINGTON THUNDERBOLT FROM CIRCA 1974 with old Kmart price tags @ $7.99 ...
he bought at an ESTATE tag SALE...
NOT COUNTING HIS 12 GA. H&R Single shot shotgun, 3 boxes of Turkey shot loads AND A FULL BANDOLIER
OF FEDERAL NO.8 BIRD SHOT....

THIS GUY ^^^^SOUNDS LIKE A REAL THREAT...

THE F.B.I. PROLLY SPENT 2 YEARS FOLLOWING THIS MORON AND ABOUT $5++ MILLION?? if my calculations are correct..ALL the AGENTS got free weekends at the shore with their families, $300 a day Per Diems for food , gas, and
DEEP SEA FISHING CHARTERS...

When the investigation WAS GOING SOUTH LIKE A LEAD BALLON...THEY CALLED IN GARY O'CONNOR AND OLD RAISIN NADS TO bReAK INto his HuT ....
Then " O.R.N." hacked into his computer and look up his favorite white supremacy sites that old raisin nads visits...twice nightly after working his GANGSTALKING detail near the shore in August...then Gary got a broken AR-15 out of the FBI evidence locker room and planted it in the coastguard guys trunk with about 500 rounds of .40 caliber FMJ ( BECAUSE GARY IS ONE DUMB **** AND THINKS THAT WHAT AR-15's shoot)....

While Gary was in the FBI evidence room, he found a stash of gold and diamond jewelry that he lifted and plans on hawking at the next "FBI MENS JEWELRY WEARING CLUB
MEETING" afterhours ON February 27th back in the J.Edgar Hoover building SSG lunch room.

if the subject in question was named Mohammed Bin Sultan Salad, a Muslim citizen of the US whose parents were from Iran, and all the other facts remained the same, critics of the arrest would be thanking law enforcement for taking a terrorist off the streets...

ummm....gene, tw.and z...kinda downplayed the seriousness of the guy, and defended Trump's silence until he spoke up...so...not exactly outright criticizing...but insinuating more serious and bigger fish to fry...

impossible to say whether or not a mass murderer was stopped before a catastrophe...but if he had not been arrested and gone off and killed a bunch of people....libs, Dems or whoever, and afterwards it was revealed that law enforcement knew of him with all those dots, and did nothing..........................................................................even Trump would be all over that...
