Sucks, but I can sleep whenever I want so that adjustment won't be too bad, but my eating schedule will take time to adjust. I hate that.

Need to scrap it. No reason to do it any more.

Hate it. It'll put me off for 2 weeks until I get used to it

Love it.

It's like a daylight savings account. We can't count on the effing groundhog to represent the promise of Spring. Daylight savings gives us a ray of hope in the north.

I'd like it to be expanded upon. Move the clock forward another hour in May. Sunlight prior to 6am screws me up more than anything else.

What do you do when you go on vacation to a different time zone for a week?

It's like going through dst twice, and you survive.

If they scrap it, I'd never replace batteries in my smoke detectors

I hate it.

But cutting an hour out of last night in particular, was welcomed.

I like it. I enjoy reading when having a cigar, and love one first thing in the morning. Lately the sunrise has been blinding. I'd have to get out on the back porch before 6AM to beat the sunrise. Now I can wait till 7AM.

Honestly I don't notice it any longer.

I get up when I get up... If the alarm wakes me up, then I get up. I never know how much sleep I get anyway, and I don't really care if it's an hour more or less....

I used to love it when we would get an extra hour of drinking... 2am would become 1am and the bar would stay open one more hour. But these days I'm too old to appreciate it... And I now live in the suburbs, so I can't drink much anyway since I need to remain sober so I can drive home. Ugh... The suburbs suck a lot of azz...

Once again we have a bill before our State House to do away with DST............no reason for it not to pass but we've had bills the last 5 years and they never made it to the floor.

I cannot think of one person I know who is in favor of these ridiculous time changes twice a year.

In Texas we don't give a schit what she has to say.................now if she'd just go ahead and stroke out she might be more entertaining

Without dst, our 5:07 sunrise in July, it would be 4:07.

Do you want the sun waking you up that early?

I prefer the extra light in the evening. If they do away with changing it I'm in favor of leaving it at DST. In the east that's UCT +4. But I definitely am not in favor of leaving it at UCT +5. And I can't relate to the being all messed up over losing an hour of sleep. Apparently you sufferers have a fixed regimen of when you go to sleep and when you wake up. If I need the sleep I go to bed an hour earlier than I normally do. If I'm not tired I stay up. No big deal.

I haven't heard anything yet from Pelosi, but AOC stated that if we don't do away with DST immediately, our sun will burn out in 12 years and the moon & stars will fall from the sky.

+1 - if they do away with one, please keep the DSL shift.
The Mrs. suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and really needs the daylight time.

Checking my time off requests at work.....friggin ADP hasn’t updated their clocks, probably using as ancient a program as my company does.

Only a politician can cut off one end of a blanket and sew it to the other end and convince you the blanket is now longer....

I'm not necessarily a fan of daylight savings time... but that statement is pretty dumb.
It doesn't really take into account fixed hours vs variable daylight.

To use the poorly implemented metaphor above … ... you only can use 1/3 of the blanket at any time. That usable area tends to shift. At some points that usable area shifts to the bottom of the blanket, and by moving a foot off the top and sewing it to the bottom, you can use the entire 1/3.

Figured I'd save Victor some time.

Trump thinks we should make DST permanent...this proves the point about a broken clock...
