Not a Cohiba rolled outside of Cuba that is worth more than a buck.

How long did the Red Dot sit in your storage, before you smoked it?
They aren’t awesome, but certainly a decent yard gar............that happens to be over priced.
I’d let it rest a few months, and revisit.
Macassars? Can’t help on that one...

The blue ones NOT the red ones! Red dots are a bad trip but the red blotter ain't half bad, man. And wearing mascara will not make them better.

They piggy back off a famous name that they had nothing to do with establishing... My opinion, no general or altadis cigar is worth smoking..

Easy. (Cuban) Cohiba is one of the most well known, elitist marcas in the world. LOTS of new and inexperienced smokers ask for them, not knowing any better. No reason for General to improve them.

I agree with this to a large degree.
Both companies have a few exceptions that are decent buys at auction prices....or, if you're in a shpo and need to buy something. But that fraction of a percent isn't worth wading in all the muck they put out...hoping to find an unobjectionable cigar.

Not long enough.
If you have any left, let them sit for 3 months, 6 will be better.
Pretty sure you’ll like them better after a good nap..............but probably not enough to buy them again........better cigars are out there in that range.
They can often be had at $2 to $3/ea.
For some reason, there’s been some clowns buying the 25 bundles for over $100........good for them.........keeps the lights on for us.

I like several of the Punch offerings from general (as you say, at auction or special internet deal pricing) but NOT the Bareknuckle. That was one of the worst brand-name cigars I have ever had.

have you tried the Graycliff Professionale, with the blue and gold band?

next worst was a Bahia? churchill with a plain blue cloth band...

both so bad I tossed them after about 6-7 puffs...

Red dot is a term used by some in the sales business as a derogatory name for people from India..

Dang, I thought this thread was about optical gun sights, not chitty cigars.
