So Trump wanted/wants to send illegals to sanctuary cities.

So the far left freaks out, the media questions trump, and unlike the "normal" politician (i.e. pile o' lying poop) trump gives the media what they need to freak out... He trolls them... And it works... Really well...

That says a lot more about the media than it does about the president...

I think sometimes we give him too much credit for trolling. He gets away with saying I didn't say that or I didn't mean that etc. far too much. I really don't think he's playing 3d chess.

He probably can't play 2d chess... I didn't say he was brilliant... Good trolls rarely are...

delta, I'm a never-Trumper who is looking for almost any non-Democrat to back, and possibly even work for in 2020.....and still, your posts make me want to defend the administration daily. Take some deep breaths and ask yourself once in a while just what is actually being done, or changed, or damaged before getting your blood pressure red-lined

The item about the WH response to the Mueller Report being about 30-40 pp was a public statement Trump's own lawyer, Giulani, made to the media (Politico) in a tweet...

and the WH AG, Barr, said in public testimony in front of a congressional committee, that the WH has not seen the Mueller report...

the fact that so many people, at one time rational folks who demanded the truth from government, and at least the appearance of competence, are allowing the POTUS to play with the facts and make inconsistent statements if not outright lies, make outlandish claims, purposely violate laws they gave an oath to protect, encourage staff to violate the law, look the other way when members of the administration act corruptly or violate laws, and publicly propose and begin head scratching plans in his/their own words...

defend away...when we look back at this period of time in history, there'll be those who defend Trump to the end, like those who defended Nixon to the bitter end and showed up as he rode off in the helicopter in disgrace...

this is mindbogglingly unfortunate, and un-precedented...this seems even worse than Nixon's administration...I can't remember a similar period of corruption and incompetence in another administration...

there have been plenty of Trump bashing posts I've thought about, but on some days, I jdgaf...environmental issues caused by his roll-backs...the huge deficits we'll confront when his tax cuts to corporations take full effect, at the time the individual tax cuts expire...his continued assault on the ACA, which provides healthcare coverage to more that 20 million more Americans...on and on...

but I know how you feel when your ox is getting gored...that's why I tuned out during the Obama administration...talk about blood pressures rising...it seemed everyone here was about to have a stroke over the latest Obama statement...

all while the train was being put back on track and heading in the right direction...

imagine what would have happened if Obama did any of the stuff Trump does...

here you just go on with your statement... I already said what these were supposed to be. and that they were to comply with the law as it stands. You just remind me of that person that's always formulating a response and didn't bother listening to the very smart person who already answered their question/statement.

?
you make no sense here

LOL - you need to re-read my initial post.

I was never disputing the legalities of what could or could not be done in regards to the unaccompanied children. But you do need to do a little more research on the locations that the administration was considering. The two that I mentioned were nothing more than a piece of dirt. No infrastructure what so ever. Last time I checked most would consider it a camp when tents/trailers, generators and armed guards have to be brought in to accommodate the the occupants.

Ok.
So you're argument is that he was going to be terrible to illegal immigrant children, because a site which WAS NOT SELECTED.... for a POTENTIAL resolution for a problem which never surfaced... didn't look nice enough to you at the time they were looking at it. ?

How do you know they weren't considering what it would cost to put in electrical and plumbing?

Even if they were just planning on putting in trailers/generators/portable facilities... it was FOR 72 HOUR MAX processing. Not a permanent solution. Not for whatever the current administration's record is on holding kids.... a year or so?

And again.... they didn't select it.

You are just rambling now. Actually, my initial point was about there being no outrage from the left when the Obama administration was looking at busing the minors all over the U.S. and now the left wing sanctuary cities are all bent out of shape over Trump's comments about sending the illegals their way. Just a little bit of a double standard.

Again... and I'll type slower so you can understand...
Nowhere near the same thing.

Obama administration was looking at busing UNACCOMPANIED minors in order to OBEY the law. The law requires that the HHS provide care for up to 72 hours. And the law requires that within 72 hours the unaccompanied minors be turned over to ORR which will then place the children. This law was intended to find a solution which is in the children's best interest.

This is in no way whatsoever similar to what trumpenfurher is trying to do. What he wants to do is NOT follow the law. And he wants to use people in a manner that is politically expedient to him, (owning the libs hur hur hur!) but not necessarily in the people being used's best interest.

If you think these two things are the same, then I'm sorry. You're dumber than I thought.

Maybe I'm the one that should be typing slower and louder. Again, I was never talking about the legalities, only the lack of left outrage when it is the home team up to bat. Either it is or it isn't legal whether it be Obama or Trump.

Make it about what you want as you usually do.

It isn't legal, and Trump won't do it, but I think it is brilliant trolling on his part. So many Looney left, so little time. LMAO!

?
So.... huh?

I am generally ticked off by presidents and/or administrations acting in a manner that violates law... or acts in a really morally reprehensible manner.

Why would you suggest that I need to get upset because the obama administration didn't supply refugees with Hiltons? You really don't understand much do you?

No one gets pissed when an organization sets up chemical toilets and showers for the homeless. Similarly I'm not going to be upset that the facilities our administration was looking to scrounge together to house people for less than 72hours aren't great.

your attempt at drawing a connection between what the trumpenfurher has done and tries to do, and obama here is.... dumb. Even for you.

Times are tough, frustration
Need relief, medication
Gone to far, intoxication
Fight the urge, of temptation
Miles ago, no destination
Is a real, hallucination
Lose the dream, of stagnation
Feel so lost, despiration
Sanctuary

Woofa Goofa always said it best.
