What do you think of the Monticello overall? What would you say the strength is of this cigar? Is it better than the MB3? I have been on the fence about trying them...thanks.

It is a MB3 place exclusive, the reviews are really good. One guy said it's like a Padron 1926 and an Oliva Serie V combined. Idk, then why is it medium-full and not full?

And yeah BGZ said he really liked them, and for the most part I like the same kind of cigars. I'm still on the fence though.

Eh...........they sound good.........but kinda spendy for me.
If the Nocturnal Beast ever drops lower than it is now (79.95).......with free ship?.......I’d probably pull the trigger.
Good way to try the Monticello and the Melanio, decent price for the V, with an over pay on the MB3..............but that’s ok.

Looks like they come on 69.95 every now and again.........
May have to keep an eye on that.

Talked my buddy into a box split. So I'll be getting a 10 pack of the torpedo within the week. I plan to let them rest for a while, but will eventually report back on this thread.

53229- ghurka war pig

Ive smoked 3 ghurkas a 15 year aged that was good but had soft spots, a centaurian that was trash and this guy. I pulled him out because its kinda cold out and didnt want to burn one i really liked, it smelled like chocolate down the stick, made well, burned even, tasted like solid cocoa and coffee beans and gave quite the kick, sorry but it was pretty good.

It's good, less spice than the mb3, probably closer to the O maduro than any of the V's.

53230 - Viaje Fifty-Fifty Red, thanks to c3s!

I've smoked several Gurkha Warpigs (one in the past month) and I think they are not too bad a cigar. I haven't bought any in a while, but I still have quite a few bellicosos on hand that have at least 2 years rest. Not all Gurkha's are bad and a few are pretty good.

Problem is you never know what you're getting. I've had some I enjoyed as well.

I feel like every cigar they make gets tossed into one bin. When they get pulled out, they get a band that matches the wrapper. What you buy and what you get will never be the same on two occasions.
