Perdomo is in town for CIGARfest! Herfing

Perdomo Event

Thursday, May 2, 2019 10am-9pm

CI Bethlehem Super-Store, Bethlehem, PA

Wanna rub elbows with Nick Perdomo? Wanna test his death-grip handshake? Wanna score exclusive deals on Perdomo’s finest handmades? You can do this, and more, on Thursday May 2nd, at our Bethlehem Super-Store.

This is a can’t-miss event. Thousands of cigar lunatics will be walking through our Super-Store doors to meet Nick and the Perdomo family, and save big on Perdomo cigars. Hundreds will be tailgating outside throughout the day. Nobody in our industry throws an event like Nick Perdomo, and nowhere else will you see the deals he’ll be offering up during this event. There’s a reason this event has been a staple in the CIGARfest festivities for well over a decade…

Sounds fun.
Still trying to figure out why I quit buying Perdomo cigars years ago.
They weren’t bad, in fact, generally ok to good.

I guess it comes down to that for me, there were too many better cigars for less coin.

I like Nick... For whatever reason, I never found a perdomo that struck the perfect balance of strength and flavor for me... But solid cigars for sure and a great many people loved those champagnes...

Nick P is a hell of a guy.

Somebody ask him whether the Tierra del Sol Maduro Corona is being made under a different name.....please.

I know, I know...natty TdS's sucked...bad...other maddie TdS's mostly sucked....but for whatever reason, that size in that blend and wrapper was the best cbid dollar cigar for a long time running. It's nearly unfathomable how differnt that one vitola was from everything else with that band...very sorry to see that one go.

The interesting thing about Perdomo is that his cigars are consistently reasonably priced and therefore not much room for discount. If you are buying cigars retail, they are a good value...and even better at the high priced shpos..however, if you a scrounging the internet for drop dead deals....you find ordinarily higher priced cigars selling for a low enough price to challenge their price point.

I do like the Lot 23, Habano and 20th anni and the champagne series.......but don't have too many in the humidor.

Not sure I like your tone............................................peasant!

I “scrounge” the Internet because I have no choice. I don't feel like driving a couple hours to a mediocre, over-priced shpo.
Lot 23? Eh, decent yard gar imo. Habano? Not impressed enough to even buy a second fiver years ago.......on the cheap then.
I like the Champagne, but I found about one out of three we’re flat, so I gave up on them.
There was a maduro I liked many years ago.........but again.........I just sort of forgot about them.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about Nick.
He does put out a LOT of different cigars..................maybe there’s one that will get me to pull the trigger again someday.

I'm not a Perdomo fan. Of the 7 types I smoked the Perdomo Champaign Noir Epicure was the most liked - tho not enough to spring for more. I have yet to try the Lot 23, but I have one aging, The Champaign Sungrown did not impress me.

SEND TOM SOME CHAMPAIGINES IF YOU GOT "EM.

I am lucky to have decent shpo choices, but that doesn't stop me from bargain hunting on the internet as I think most of of us here do. My point was, if you find yourself in a high priced shpo or cigar bar, and need to pick up a cigar, the Perdomo will not be as marked up as the other choices.

Agree. I like the 858SG. something about changing the wrapper makes that one sing.

Of course I have to weigh in on a Perdomo thread. Nick (and Janine) are great people, so I feel good about giving them my custom. That said, and it’s probably a repeat, I don’t buy much from them anymore as I’ve expanded by cigar universe after pretty much only smoking Perdomo from 2007 - 2015. Not a fan of the Champagne series in any wrapper but the Noir, didn’t like the tweaks to the Habano line a few years ago or that they discontinued the Corojo (still have several boxes, however). The ESV is good, but there are better for the dollar. Grand Cru is not my thing at all. The 20th in all varieties are quality. The only one I buy anymore on a regular basis is the Lot 23 Connecticut because it’s my favorite breakfast smoke.

Had a few Double Aged Sungrowns that were excellent, but wish there were smaller ring gauges available. As Jamie mentioned , the Small Batch is great, but I favor the Sungrown over the Maduro. And the vitolas are more in line with what I buy these days.

I like Perdomo myself just for the fact that they are what I would call a workhorse smoke. Definitely not the crimdelacrim in flavor but always pretty dang consistent in my experience. Flavor and such is ok but not what I would call bad. Just a good all around dependable cigar in my book.

Wish Nick would bring back the Exhibicion. With the FDA stuff, my guess is he will at some point.

Unfortunately, we do not carry another product using the Tierra del Sol blend.

That was a nice one. I also like that Criolla you sent me....don't see those very often. Thanks for the Monkey-Perdomo connection.

I had actually set that one aside for the next time I sent stuff to you since you reported enjoying the precious ones. The last of an old, old box. Wouldn’t mind Nick bringing that one back either, but it looks as if, the La Tradicion excepted, Perdomo has gone Connecticut/Sungrown/Maduro exclusively.

Thanks, Shana. I'm probably the only person who misses it.

Been a fan of Nick and Perdomo cigars since my first CigarFest in 2007. Nick has always been a class act and I enjoy seeing him every year.

I still have some of the Perdomo ESV 1991. Excellent cigar IMO! fog Also the Cuban Bullet was pretty good and inexpensive.

Had the pleasure of meeting Nick years ago. Applause
