many years ago my father flatlined after a stress test. was brought back, had quintuple bypass, outlived the warranty (asked the surgeon minutes before the operation what the warranty was...answer: "lifetime") as he lived longer than the surgeon.
The hospital's position was that the discovery of his condition because of the test actually saved his life. I agreed, could have happened as he took his customary walk at the mall where he would have died before the ambulance arrived.

Hey Guys !
All is well. The Heart is fine. Had to go back and have another echo done to recheck the valves, all good. Had an MRI on my left side of my chest yesterday. The chest pain is from walking on my Fnnn Cane.
Glad it's all done. My heart is very good condition. I needed to be checked due to age, family history etc...
I sincerely appreciate all the concern..
You guys Rock..
Thanks,
wheel,,,

Good news..........and, hope your foot/ankle continues to improve.
Wheel doesn't need to get the hiney test.........Nurse Terrie administers that weekly.

Good to hear Wheel!
I was hooked up to the ECG for about 5 hours today while they checked out my ticker, said I was good to go too. Had some chest pains and didn't want to f around so I had it checked.

Nope, had some chest pains and some other symptoms the past couple of days so I got a bit freaked out and went to the ER.
They sent me home later in the day with a bunch of paper work to give to my primary Dr. for a follow up. And it's amazing how fast they get you into the ER when you show up saying that you have chest pains. Was getting the evil eye from a bunch of people in the waiting area when they wheeled me right in.
I will attack the snow tomorrow AM with the snowblower, easy stuff.

Wow. I was banned when our dear brother passed, and was shocked when I came back and found out he was gone. Reading through this thread is freaky. I really miss Bill. Rest in peace, brother.
