I'm fairly new to Cigar Smoking, but I am definitely hooked. I smoked an Ave Maria Lionheart this morning, and at first glance I didnt care for it, but my oh my the nore I puffed the better it got. For those who haven't tried them its a must add to your Humidor Rotation.

But........but..........cigarboi says they’re awesome, and belong in my rotation.

I suppose YOU think you know more about cigars than “da boi”?

Hah! Cut ‘um some slack.

He’s admittedly new to cigars so we all know that eventually his palate will evolve and one day he’ll look back at this post and wonder how/why the he11 did he made that bold statement. Brick wall

I have a box of Ave Marias that have been sleeping for a few years now. Guess I'll have to open it up and see if I still like them.

Oh yeah . . . Welcome Cigarboi.

Here's a word of advice. Sometime in the next year or so your palate will change. It has happened to all of us when we first started out. The cigars you enjoy today, you may not enjoy in the future. So, do not make the rookie mistake of stocking up on current favors.

Ava Maria are inexpensive everyday/yard gar type cigars. I'll smoke them when, and only when I can get them for a $1 to $1.50. Since I have a good supply, that is easy to do. Those paying $15 - $20 a 5 pack are clueless. JMHO.

First, welcome.
Second, if you like it, smoke it! Opinions here are like azzholes, everybody has one, and they both stink.
Since you like Ave Maria's, look for cigars with similar tobacco, wrapper, binder, filler.
But most of all, don't stop smoking a particular cigar because others don't like it.

You could also jump on the trading board where we trade out to find sticks we enjoy. I am sure you will come into some stuff you want to smoke on there, or get to experiment with the veterans' fave choices a little later. After you are introduced to better stuff, you'll never pickup another Ave Maria again.

Welcome aboard.
