Mine is easy enough. I'm Irish with family connections to the IRA and I'm a huge boxing fan. So Bomber refers to both:-) Dirty protestant traitors!

you are correct, but only one technology could win.
My fil was a territory vp for Panasonic/Matsuchita (sp?) back then, so it worked out for me.

My dad doubled down on beta when he found out they were being discontinued... Bought a ton of them for a couple bucks each... My favorite was the Apple dumpling gang... Then someone broke in and stole the player along with the dumpling gang tape inside...

You’re close.

“Matsus-h-i-ta” (...without the dashes...) is the parent company name.

Pronounced NOOM-IS-MAIN-ee-ACK

Yep, in 2007, I became the "crazy coin man". I was THE ONLY individual in the Country to accomplish what I tried and successfully did. To search out, find, and make money from the Presidential $1 coins. I drove to every State East of the MS River and all over Louisiana twice in a little under 6 months.

Anyone ever need help with understanding what you have and it's value, feel free to PM me. I don't mind helping folks. Can't stand to see people getting ripped off.

Been using this online handle for a few decades...

"Stogie" because I like cigars, the numbers were meaningful at the time I started using the name.

Mostly because I used to be not the one you want to mess with.

Age has mellowed the cigar smoker.

This is awkward... Yes, I am!

Also, it was my apartment number for far too long a few decades ago.

trying to remember if I I've answered this before. . .

Came up with the name when I was doing a lot of online poker. My brother in law had the name night chaser on poker games. In a similar fashion, wanting a name that tied in my illini roots, along with giving the image of being a "loose" luck based player I chose Illinichaser. I liked the name and have used it ever since, no matter the forum. BTW, anyone wanna get the cbid poker game going again?
