Now off work till next Wednesday unless some OT presents itself. Hard to pick up lately because there's basically a staffing crisis going on at the hospital and if you pick up and aren't needed at any point during the shift, you get moved to another unit and usually get a horrible team of patients that nobody wants to deal with.

Truck supposed to be done next Friday.

I think I left my good cigar cutter at the campground last weekend. Can't find it, or my COH single cigar ashtray that I always use when camping. It was pouring rain when we packed up and the campfire folding table was knocked over so I'm sure they got left in the mud.

Been using a scalpel I stole from work but looks like I gotta order a new nice cutter.

Blast from the past right there.

Forgot about those things. I think I have some left on the reloading bench.

PSD4 and about 4 beers in the garage. Coupla tacos afterwards.

Rain's coming down again.

Time for bed.

The same way I explain away the wife's spayed female dog's insistence on humping her leg at any chance it can get.

Wisdom from Stephen Wright

Everywhere is walking distance if you have the time.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it.

I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance.

General opinion: Is it considered a bad career move to strangle your bosses? I swear their asking for it. Maybe not in direct question format, but still, positively begging to be throttled

I hate nights for the poor sleep and stuff, but it has enough perks to keep me there. Helps a lot that I can do all my work days consecutively and then be off for a week.

Which shift - 2nd or 3rd ? I kinda liked the 3rd when I was young - but it seemed there was no time to sleep.

Oy! I'm a nervous wreck.
What if I'm outside having a smoke when it happens?
What if it happens in the middle of the night?
Do you have a trick you use to stay calm?

OK, but don't go too far...I'm heading out for a smoke.

7pm-7am

There is no time to sleep. And when there is, the sun's out and I can't sleep.

A better move is a good bludgeoning. A tape dispenser would be my choice.
-First the stunned look.
-Then third or fourth shot to the head (you'll likely lose track), you'll get your rhythm down.
-The blood woundn't be too bad initially.

You'll truly..................... leave your mark.
