Do they still make Partagas Black Prontos? Mb a bit heavier than what you are looking for, but tasty.
L'atelier Travailleurs aren't sweet, but decent size, flavor price for 30-40 minute drive.
Two robs that are bigger than you need, but 'tossable'; Brickhouse maddie rob isn't bad...on sale...& La Palina Oscuro - not sure why these go for cheap here, but a real hidden gem...used to love Kill BiIIs, but they disappeared from auctions and retail is prohibitive
I love heavy, but they don't have to be. I love any maduro that has a woodsy to cocoa flavor that leaves a touch of sweetness on the back end. I love Diesel Unlimited Maduro, Unholy Cocktail, MOW Damnation, Ave Maria Argentum, and HC Series M2 Maduro. Big AJ fan. Didn't intend to be, but my taste just led me there.
Matter of fact, didn't want to like Diesel at all. When they first came out, the name seemed a bit hokey, and with having Shorty Rossi as their spokesmodel, it was a bit more cheese than I could handle. But then I tried the Unholy Cocktail, and it just floored me. WOW
Robs are fine, because if I don't finish em, I just light em up later.
And when they're really tasting good, I shove the nub in my pipe and smoke em til they're gone.
Some of my favorite cheapies are VS Connecticut Yankee and REO, but I always like trying new ones.
I just hate being stuck with a bundle of sour tasting turds.
Been looking at the Brickhouse maduro, and interested to try that La Palina Oscuro
Thanks Dstieger!
