On a whim I stopped by a local shop and there was a Padron event going on. Picked up a box of 10 Padron 1926 No 90 Robusto Tubos for $178 along with a free hat (which my daughter stole) and 1 free Padron 1926 Natural. Also grabbed a box of 10 Nat Sherman Sterlings Short Robusto for $54.95. The last box I'm kind of unsure about, I got a box of 10 Romeo y Julieta Petite Number Dos Tubo's for $42.95. I know I smoked one before and I also think I read a review but have this funny feeling I wasn't a fan but they were discounted so I took a chance. I feel like I should return them and get another box of The Nat Sherman's since they were also marked down. Any advice would be welcome.

On a side note the Tatuaje No 9's that used to be exclusive here are no longer made. So if I sent you one and you still have it, it's the last one you'll get. Not that it's any great loss to the cigar world but if you're a Tatuaje fan you might want to look for one just to say you had one:-)

Haven't had the Romeo's before but I would prefer the Sterling's over any Romeo any day.
I don't normally smoke milder cigars such as those but that Sterling in the petite Corona size is fantastic. Never had the robusto though but I'm sure they're just as good. Those Sterling's are pretty dam expensive too if not bought on a deal/sale.

That's enough for me. The Sterling's were on the clearance rack, I'm going back for the last box tomorrow and returning the RyJ's. They have like 3 boxes of the RyJ's on clearance if anyone is interested at 42.95 for a box of 10. Thx. For some reason I needed validation on a decision I'd already madeThink Will send a few your way:-)

Like I said, I normally don't smoke the light/milder stuff but I would have to say the Sterling is the best cigar I've ever had in the "category".
It's just crazy how much they go for. I was buying and smoking them at a shop in Chicago which has a criminally high tax on tobacco...
Think they msrp for around $9ish but after the crook county tax they came out to a good $13-14. It's hard to justify spending that much on a 4x40 cigar but they sure were good.
