Don’t know what’s happening with him but Ron’s a good guy. Hope he’s just too busy to visit the site anymore.

I can confirm that I had no previous identity on this board. However, I can have a séance late tonight and attempt to summon his spirit. After a drink and a smoke. And some trippy music. And another drink and smoke, ...

BUT -
I have no responsibility for what takes place if he returns!

I've been dismissed from my job with the Coroner's Office due to an unfortunate error.

I don't know about all that rising from the dead stuff. Maybe for you religious folk that's a thing, but not for us heathen non believers.

I'm good. Did you know photons have mass? I didn't even know they were Catholic. Also, Atheism is a non-prophet organization. A final thought, if 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does that mean one enjoys it?

Yet to believe in nothing is to be empty and without hope

Just never felt a need to belong to a cult was all. I'm not poo pooing those that believe in their supreme deity, for those that do, fandamntastic if that's your thing. My old lady is a left wing catholic, she hasn't been able to save/convert me in 26 years we've been together.

So let's keep this friendly, I've learned not to discuss religion, politics or sports with people I wish to remain friends/friendly with. And I guess I like most of you around here no matter what you believe. And for the record, I do believe in something... I believe I'll have another whisky and cigar.

Carry on.

My comment was in no way directed towards you. And I don't believe much in religious doctrine myself. The Ten Commandments I feel are a tremendous guide. Beyond that and issues of personal responsibility, I feel no need to judge another's thoughts or actions.
The comment applied more towards me than anyone. There were times after living through the decimation of family and friends around me, I really didn't give a fucque about anything anymore. Total emptiness...
