You'd need to cook all 8 of them to get anything worthwhile, they're only about a pound each right now.

They're not meat birds either, so wouldn't be much for eating in 6 months either.

They're just good for pooping out breakfast food.

DED is on to something...even if global warming is a net catastrophe, not every place on earth would suffer negative consequences...there may be some places that would see some improved living conditions, even as the rest of the world is worse off...

if the Arizona desert becomes more hospitable, maybe more of the crowd here will move there...traffic is a bitmuch here...

My no. 1 choice is disappointing me and I haven't found anything great this trip. For Chinese, the best I've found is Szechuan Delight in Harwich at a shopping center on the intersection of rt. 137 and 39. Primarily a take out restaurant.

Trying to clean out the coop to get the chickens outside.

Had to resort to scooping the poop into the boys snow sled to drag it out back. Sinking over my ankles in muck, good inch or two of standing water over the top of the mud.

It's never been this wet for this long since I've lived here. Even the driveway getting soupy

Maybe some of those Asian carp? They put them in the canals around here to keep the vegetation down.

Spent the last four hours wire brushing and repainting patio furniture. Time to sit and have a cigar and a Beer

Beautiful day today. 80 and sunny. If it weren't for the yard soup it would be a very pleasant day for yard work.

Dragged a dozen loads of chicken chit out back on the boys snow sled n dumped in the swamp. Didn't even try to get to the compost pile. Climbed up in the coop and brushed out all the corners n stuff. Had to go to the feed store for a new waterer.

Closed up the eaves on the coop, no opening larger than 1/2" now since the 2"x10" gaps were big enough for the damn raccoons to murder my flock.

Weed whacked the whole ditch and trimmed / edged the yard. Mowed what I could.

Coops ready for the chickens to move in. Gonna wait for the boy to get off the bus to move them outside.

5 hours of slinging mud n grass got me pretty filthy. Gonna take a shower before I do anything else.

DED is a madman. I woke up at 11:15 after about 6 hours of sleep and I need a beer.

Cooking some cajun red beans and rice.
