I ain't no banker, so I don't calculate interest. If I get impatient, I'll swing by your place and talk about it... and crash on your couch... where it's warm and not snowing in almost May... Like this Godforsaken tundra I choose to call home

Thanks, Palama! You ROCK!

Brands I’m interested in:
———
Rojas
Roma Craft
HVC
Warped
Aganorsa Leaf/Casa Fernandez
Southern Draw
Foundation
Sinistro
Edgar Hoill

I like vitamin N, medium to full cigars & San Andres & Aganorsa tobaccos. I tend to smoke lower-priced smokes and save the high end stuff for gifts and trades.

Best laid plans often go awry.

Wrong coolers at home. Will have to switch them later this week.

Shipment be delayed further...sorry ‘bout that. Brick wall

I am appreciative and looking forward to some IWOC (island west of cali) smokes. However, your continued use of the plural form of cooler is giving me anxiety. Gonz

Don’t worry, the smokes will all fit inside a SFR.

Dang it!

Seegars wouldn't all fit into the SFR without making for a *really* overstuffed box and having the potential of some of them getting damaged in transit so gonna have to resort to Plan B.

Plan B would be to send a nice reasonable number that would fit safely and securely in an SFR, yes?

Anxious

Conan, package is received. SFR boxes must be different in the islands than they are here. There's also a suspicious amount of heft to it. Damages to be posted as soon as I work up the nerved to look

I knew it was going to be bad when Mrs. Beach greeted me with her patented “What did you order now?” frown. Yes, she is able to frown in complete sentences. She’s talented like that. After swearing to not having ordered a thing, she finally let me back in the house, mumbling something about “you and your stogie pen pals.” Sounds like a friendly label, but there was derision in the tone. Sidnote: I gripe often, but she has many wonderful qualities. Cigar appreciation is just not one of them.

Anyway, Brother Conan was true to his word. He only sent one SFR box…. nestled inside an MFR. For those not up on the abbreviations, it means Mudda Fuggin Rekt yo’ mailbox. Now I know what you’re thinking. It can’t be safe for the small box to float around the big box all the way across the ocean and good chunk of the country. No worries. Plenty of “packing material” was provided to keep it safe.

So without further ado:

The Swag:
- A retractable back scratcher – soon to be highly collectible
- Some cardboard discs from a Honolulu music spot
- A plastic “celebrator” goat
Conan, I need some help with these last two. I googled my butt off but got nothing. The perforation on the pogs distorts the name of the place, and looks like I should punch out where they’re cut but don’t want to wreck them.

The Packing Material:
- Hawaiian Sun - Strawberry guava jam, Banana & macadamia nut pancake mix, Strawberry guava pancake mix
- NOH - Coconut pudding mix
- Cook Kwee’s - Pineapple & macadamia nut Maui Cookies
- Diamond Bakery – Guava Hawaiian biscuits, Graham crackers, Soda Crackers, Royal Creem crackers
- Maebo’s 1 ton chips
- Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee Co. – Classic 10% Kona Coffee Blend
Mrs. Beach is gonna want to fight you when I get fat(ter).

And of course, the smokes that (almost) fit into a single SFR: (many dates are significant)
- AF 858 Natural ‘14
- AF 858 Maduro ‘14
- AF 858 SG ‘13
- AF 858 Rosado ‘18
- Camacho Triple Maduro Robusto OR ‘13
- DE MUWAT Bait Fish ‘13
- DE MUWAT Night Crawler ‘15
- Espinosa Laranja CG ‘17
- HVC Serie A Robusto ’19 (tag says a Hawaiian exclusive)
- Oliva Serie G Perfecto Maduro ‘15
- Oliva Serie G Special G Maduro ‘13
- RoMa Craft Whiskey Rebellion Hamilton ‘17
- RoMa Craft Whiskey Rebellion McFarlane ‘17
- Tatuaje Noella ‘14
- Tatuaje Noella Reserva ‘15
- Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva ‘16

Conan, I think I said it best in my post above. This is an awesome selection of cigars and snacks, and I am honored to have received one of the famed scratchers. Other than the Laranja, which I enjoy, everything is a never had. You mentioned something about not doing very good with my wishlist. Kindly stuff that chit. You hit everything on my didn’t even know to ask for list. Many are from before I even started on cigars, and I never held much hope for coming across an Eiroa Camacho. Very excited about that one. I am really looking forward to these. I say thank you, but it feels insignificant. So I revert simply to HOLY CRAP!!!!

Dan;

You're more than welcome. All that "extra" stuff...just a little interest on the slow packing and sending. BigGrin

As far as the two mysterious items, the cardboard pieces are milk caps from my old Hawaiian music mail order business ("Kaleos Music"). Three of them with the tab cutout and staple are the real deal milk caps, the other is printed on a different material but not a real milk cap. Back-in-the-day, they used them as the caps to milk bottles as well as a game called "POGS". More info here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milk_caps_(game)

The "Celebrator" goat thingy is the other mystery piece and can usually be found on every Ayinger Celebrator beer bottle.

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/ayinger-celebrator-doppelbock/1090/

The one bummer is that I didn't have an 8-5-8 Candela to complete the Fuente vertical line...but I'm sure you'll be fine with 4 out of five.

Oh, and sorry 'bout your future waistline increase...but if given a chance, I'm sure there's a bunch of CBidders that will gladly "dispose" of them for you...for free too! jester

Love it! I’ll try to keep in better touch. Don’t want you two to worry. Life is incredibly busy. I rarely browse ze forums, these days. I generally keep up when I get a ping from various posts that I monitor. Hope things stay mostly up for you, my friend. Blue pills can help, I’m told. 😉
