any opinions?
Favorable reviews for the connie robustos, but I'm looking at a box of coronas.
Thanks

Only tried the original blend...I wasn’t that impressed but been a while since I smoked one.

How’s the hand?

only gets like tingly in the fingers, but can be intense. Calms right down in seconds if I can find a "neutral" angle for the elbow...but when sleeping all bets are off.
Might pick up a pad thing to restrict movement, appointment made with a nerve tracker doc but not til late June.
I can last til then.

I take it that amputation is not an option?

yah, get a splint to keep the elbow at an angle that doesn't put pressure on the nerve so you can sleep...

nothing funny about the funny bone...

the Blind Man's Bluff connie robustos are very good....went through a couple of boxes quickly..........haven't had the corona....

the 5" x 50 Robusto was a WASTE of money at 20 for $63.00! Very average even after aging.

I get the same thing. Tingling in the pinky and ring finger on my right hand. A pinched ulnar nerve. But can't figure out if it's at the elbow, shoulder or neck. sleeping on my side makes it much worse, so been sleeping on the couch lately to restrict movement. If I was smart, I'd go to the doctor. IF. I'm a stubborn jackazz...

You guys with nerve issues, I have some info for you. You may want to try the following two supplements together:

ALA, Alpha-Lipoic Acid
GLA, Gamma Linolenic Acid

There was a study some time back, and if I recall right, they took people with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and split them into two groups. One got B-vitamin complex supplement pills, and the other group got ALA and GLA pills.

The B-vitamin group had a slight improvement, but the ALA/GLA group had very significant improvement in their symptoms.

So, I tried it on myself, and took ALA/GLA for awhile. Huge improvement, pretty amazing. Stopped it. Symptoms got bad again. Started it, same huge improvement.

I told others, they tried it. They reported large improvements as well.

CTS is similar in many ways to lots of other nerve-related issues, so ALA/GLA may help your nerve-related problems too, even if they're not CTS. ALA is known to repair/rebuild the myelin sheath around nerves and GLA has nerve-health benefits too, if I remember right, and it appears both together are a real one-two punch.

ALA is just sold as itself ("Alpha-Lipoic Acid") with 200mg or 300mg daily doses being common.

GLA is a little more complicated because I've never seen it sold just as GLA or "Gamma Linolenic Acid", rather it makes up a portion of supplements like Borage Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, etc. From what I recall back when I did my research, Borage Oil is the best source for it (and it's what I use), and approximately one-fifth of Borage Oil is GLA. For example, if you take 1000mg of Borage Oil daily, you get about 180-200mg of GLA.

Daily, I've been doing 300mg of ALA (just a 300mg ALA capsule) and 180mg GLA (in the form of a 1000mg Borage Oil capsule). Excellent, game-changing improvements.

DISCLAIMER - This is all from my memory and may not be perfect so do your own research, and I AM NOT A DOCTOR OR HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, SO ASK YOUR DOCTOR before doing this or anything else!

Hope this helps some of you guys, because it's greatly helped me and several of my friends!

You're welcome, izonfire!

Also, I just found the abstract of the study! Have a look. Note I'm taking half the dosage that participants in the study took (300mg instead of 600mg ALA and 180mg instead of 360mg GLA), but I still got great results:

never had any robs, have had 4 coronas so far.
Wrappers on first two didn't want to keep up with the filler and lots of air came through.
Last two burned way better, perhaps acclimation was the issue...

still not a memorable smoke, wish I paid under 3 instead of just over 3 apiece, but I've paid more for worse.
A bunch will burn on the golf courses during Wild Man Weekend in June.
