Talk about a movie that really brought home how F'ed up that war was and how they handled coming home. Watch it every chance I get.

Just thought of a GREAT ONE...

VERY HARD TO FIND...
VERY EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE...

"THE SWIMMER"
BURT LANCASTER's greatest performances...

A distraught, delusional and depressed Connecticut banker ?stock broker?/ Advertising man? swims from pool to pool all over Litchfield, CT ( or another famous CT county/ town and relives his entire life at pools and pool parties)
Great ****kking movie...really makes you think about the meaning of ones very own existence and life in general...

1968 - filmed in Westport, CT., a memorable film that I've seen twice. Another Lancaster film you might enjoy is "The Train" (1964).

Had a guy at work that was just gushing about it when it came out.
I mean really, he would not STFU about how petrifying it was,
just jzzing himself every time he talked about it.

Expectations high, I went to see it expecting a wild ride...
Then watched intently........... WHAT? When's the scary chit?
Felt like I was robbed. Never was let down so much from a movie.

Maybe my expectations were impossibly high.
Or maybe done too much crazy chit in the woods myself. Dunno.

Huge let down ThumbDown

Not to disparage your assessment whatsoever Spey, but it sucked.
