So I decided last night to do a total clean out. Pulled all my sticks out of each box, wiped everything down, did a quick inspection and put everything back a little more organized. In my 3rd box I found a few gems I had forgotten all about. Down on the bottom layer hidden from sight.
A My Father S Special from Nnightmar? The name sounds familiar but I can't find it in the members list... Did I write it down wrong?

1 Masterblends 2
1 MB3 from 2012 (poor thing has slept long enough)
Bolivar Gold Medal dated 06/08
Pedros Pearl
Cohiba Siglo 1 perlas. (Petite corona)
MOW Ruination 2 (2012)
and finally Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills (box code on label SOE ABR 11)

Have you guys ever found a nice smoke or two you forgot you had?

Forgot to mention Frank's 3 Old Henry's from 2012 and I still have
6 LFD Hammers that I labeled for Jespear way back when. Talk about a lazy shipper I'm only 7 years late!d'oh!

I found a box in the garage once that still had about 9 cigars in it, Victor Sinclair CT - must have been there 3-4 years- no mold, no better and no worse - never were any good.

Ah ha! It wasn't for a trade though! They were going to be a surprise! These were a local exclusive that was discontinued that John loved so I bought the last two boxes and sent him I think a whole box? Maybe half.. Now I forget... Anyway ladies and gentlemen of the jury I throw myself on your mercy and ask you to judge me not harshly! I was young, and stupid, and a girl was involved, yeah... SHE made me do it. It's her you want! I really wish I had gotten her name now... I was thinking with my little head... Well not exactly little..... Not Tripod sized but respectable!Whistle Angel

StePHen,
You may have bought the last two boxes from "the local', but you failed to mention how, after you found out that they would not be getting any more in stock, you contacted "the man himself" LITO GOMEZ at LFD and orchestrated an epic buyout of HIS remaining warehouse stock, and made them available to the brothers here on the CBid forums. I was fortunate enough to snag two boxes of that remaining inventory, thanks to your effort. I still have one of them sitting unopened in my Havana Footlocker.

God I forgot about that..... I've been really lucky with all the people I've met who make the cigars we love. Met Nick Perdomo with my wife and he ended up getting me and extra 10 cigar sampler and a Perdomo Table lighter(think the wife had something to do with that... He talked to her most of the time - and not me.... Wish I could have traded her to him for more smokes!). Pete Johnson hooked me up huge with the extra Tat black 3 packs and box openers when the only way to get the Tat blacks 3 pack was through an event and he also sold me one of his personal boxes of the Frank's when they first came out. Pete Johnson always keeps the first 10 boxes of every cigar he makes. Sold me box #7. At the time The Tat blacks were made solely for him, his own private cigar. Glad we can buy them now they were a great smoke! Janny Garcia was also really nice to me as I was talking to Pepin Garcia she slipped me an extra prize give away, don't remember what it was though. Maybe a tee shirt and hat. But I totally forgot how cool Litto was about those boxes of Hammers when I told him how many people here loved them. He sold us every last box and at a big discount if I remember correctly.

At least you don't have to crack that last box yet because you have 6 more headed your way:-)

Nnightmar was active here back in the day. A lot of fogs disappear from the member list if they don't post.

Bought a box of the original release reservas hand rolled by Pepin Garcia when they first came out in 2009. The box had 12 cigars each in a coffin. I just found them about a week ago in the back of one of my humis and smoked one. Wonderful!

Also just sent one to someone here.

Pulled out a Torano Tribute 2004 Maduro Churchill the other night.

I always preferred the natural but it was still pretty nice.

I have a sealed box of LFD Habano Perfectos buried somewhere.
They must be pretty mellow by now

They were *really* good. When StePHen was putting the deal together, I was too nOObie of a nOOb to understand what was going on and to jump in. d'oh!

Luckily I’ve been gifted 3 singles and have 1 left. Gonna cherish it when I finally ash it up.

Was it me? It was me wasn't it. I can tell it was definitely me. You Sir are a Gentleman no matter what the others say. I'd like to take this moment to thank the academy, and the writers, whomever wrote my address on that box.... GENIUS! Finally I'd like to thank my new bestest friend d1ck. What can I say about D1ck that hasn't been said already? I just LOVE D1ck!

I was part of the The Hammer mass purchase. I was still relatively new and only bought ten (if I remember correctly). I smoked a couple and gifted he rest over the years.

There have been some great buys coordinated on here. Was it Pro that organized the LFD Box Press purchase?

it was the LGD Small Batch #4 (#5?) purchase...he also orchestrated a few other mass purchases, including a mixture of Cubans...miss crgcpro...hope he is well...

I was lucky enough to jump on a box of the LFD Hammer stock that CelticBomber orchestrated...might have one left that I'm saving for a rainy day...
