That machine-gun themed site? You know, the one that is now owned by the people who own the people who own the people who own Cbid?

Well they have a "Oliva All Star Cigar Sampler" deal of 10 Oliva cigars for $19.99.

You get:
1 Oliva Serie G Maduro
1 Oliva Serie G Cameroon
1 Oliva Connecticut Reserve
1 Oliva Serie O Sungrown
1 Oliva Nub Cameroon 460
1 Oliva Hellion Habano
1 Oliva Hellion Devil's Own
1 Oliva Hellion Devil's Due
1 Oliva Wrath Habano
1 Oliva Wrath Maduro

I have had and liked the first 5 (Although the Connie was not as good as I would have expected it to be from Oliva). Never heard of the Hellion or Wrath. They seem to be exclusives to that seller but, who knows, with the new ownership they might wind up over here someday. [On a side note I noticed, for the first time, in my CI order, a flyer/ad for Cbid!]

IF you have never used this seller before, register a username and get 10% off right off the bat. [Note: don't sign up for the 15% and free shipping deal to get on email list that is in a pop-up when first on the site, close that popup then do the 10% off when register the first time]

THEN use code GOOD15 to get another 15% off. This is stack-able with the 10% new register deal but apparently not with the 15% email-signup deal, so you get a bigger discount on your first order this way.. Doing the deals in a different order might make a difference and they have a lot of coupon codes floating around out there, so you might do better, but I was just surfing while on a boring conference call and was not going to put any more effort into a cheap impulse buy.

Doing both of those gets you free shipping on the order.

Doing this and I wound up with 10 Oliva/Oliva-ish Cigars for just under $12 delivered. I know the math doesn't seem right but that was the price - $11.97. Plus you get some cigar points whatever those are good for. If it turns out the Hellions and Wraths wind up being worth at least a $1 per, then its a good deal.

For me, I just registered as a new account and the 10% showed up as a discount in the cart without any email. No real notice that you got it until you check out. Then I did the coupon code on top of that.

Hope that helps. Let us know what your final price is as I'm still not sure how they came up with what they charged me.

Also, I found the deal via Slickdeals. I check that site regularly.

If you're speaking of the same site that I'm thinking of, I had some bad experiences there.

Initial sampler for joining showed a group of fine sticks, none of which were included in the sampler that I received.
Then would regularly get unwanted pushy sales calls.
Then a billing error, which was repeatedly uncorrected after numerous calls

Strike three - won't go back

Not sure when your bad experience was, but Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which owns cigasr international and cigarbid and others purchased them in April 2018. So whether you give money to CI, Cbid, the other Cigar Dot place the place that has cigars AND pipes, or the Machine-gunned themed site (moving from Tampa to CI's HQ in Pennsylvania soon), it's all the same company now.

You know getting old sucks when you read the title of this thread as: Another Day, Another Meal. I'm thinking, what the hell does that have to do with cigars!

Carry on.
