Initially tried it neat and has a unique / different taste that I can’t put a finger on. Dropped a sphere in but it was still there. Fo’ I’m gonna need a couple more shots to come to some kind of conclusion but at this point in time, don’t think I would rush out to buy more. But, like anything subjective, ymmv.

I thought it was good but not great and the 1st pour after opening wasn't as good as the latter pours.
I have to agree that it definitely has a different note that I wasn't necessarily fond or not fond of.

If I want to get it , it's still available the craze never hit here fortunately

Naked Grouse this evening. Blended malt (like Monkey Shoulder) rather than blended scotch. Much more single malty in flavor. Both excellent additions at a reasonable price point.

My liqueur cabinet is well stocked. At least you have probably seen Weller 12 and Elmer T Lee. I have some I imagine you have never seen.

Just poured an ETL myself.

Bought a local whiskey that was aged in purpose built pecan barrels. It’s pretty good.

Spey - how is the Indian whisky? I’ve looked at this and the other one I can’t recall.

Monkey, it was interesting, but not worth the price IMHO. I enjoyed it at a friends. I will not be buying a bottle.
