Can't commit to OT in advance because if my unit doesn't need me I have to go on call for the rest of the hospital to work wherever they want me to go. Not a fan of working in departments I don't work in.

I gotcha....I used to work in a shop that did that, they'd offer you OT, but if they didn't have work in your dept., they just put you where they needed a body...hated thatd'oh!

Caught a lot of fish yesterday. The 3 B's were in attendance... Barracuda, Bass and Bonito. Cuda and bass were jumping out of the damn water. Threw many fish back in...

Unfortunately, the species we were looking for has been silent. No yellowtail.

Too much disrupted soil to settle. Plus, ground penatrating radar now sees 10ft deep (as far as we know).

I learned that from Mr. Jones.

Another nearly sleepless night. Almost feels like the flu again. Too much to do and lots of rain is predicted. Thankfully the grass didn't grow that much last week, but I gotta mow some of it today.

I heard Drafter was chasing balls all day. He pulled a muscle trying to lick himself. It's all Frank's fault.

Couldn't decide on brisket or pork shoulder, so I got both on the smoker.

Hope they're done soon. I'm hungry.

They scheduled me over my approved vacation. Apparently my vacation got cancelled.

Guess who's calling off

10 minute cat nap likely screwed up my real sleep now. Tuesday's have recently been brutal.

That is what must be adding to the anxiety.

What really grinds my gears is I got a text message: "are you really going to be out of town the 11th?" Which i replied "I'm leaving for Michigan in the AM on the 12th, so yes" I can't do a 12 hour night shift and then hitch up the camper, drive to the track, and work all day.

Mistakes never happen when there is lack of sleep. To increase the degree of difficulty, add alcohol to the mix.

They could hire an extra nurse. Just change the price for a Tylenol in the ER from $250 to $350 apiece.

They'd make up that 70k in no time.

Damn danm!

78/105 today which actually feels pretty good with low RH. Getting up about 4:30 has become the norm to get out for a walk and home chores before it gets too hot.

Got invaded by fungus gnats last night... a snake of them about 8' long was trying to cross from a mulch bed across our walkway... they must have been driven up by the hard rain.

We killed them off using about 3 bottles of hydrogen peroxide.

This morning there were more.....

It's a shame I'm going to have to burn the house down.

Common issue with cannabis plants... They're annoying but that's about it... No harm done... At least not to the pot...

You already gots yourself a mulch pile going, huh? Keep it up and before you know it you'll have second and third cousins crawling out of the woodwork lookin to git hitched...
