I just hate SB's coffee...…..and when I can find a coffee shop that can make better coffee than my Bonavita Connoisseur loaded with Café Bustelo or Blue mountain I might actually buy a cup.I just suffer through most store bought coffee's

My kid worked at charbucks. I'm not a big fan of their coffee, although the Vanilla sweet cream cold brew is pretty good.

It has been my experience here in the Northeast that people fall into two categories:
1. People who drink coffee black
2. People who put cream or milk in their coffee.

I have found that most who prefer milk or cream heavily favor Dunkin Donuts coffee, while black drinkers prefer Starbucks.

There are exceptions, of course. But they prove the rule.

In the meantime, although I don't care for Dunks I was the recipient of one of their gift cards recently.
I found their Cafe Americano to be a decent cuppa. Both hot and cold.
Black no sugar, of course.

I spent many, many years drinking coffee on the mess decks that was made in 5 gallon urns that were cleaned once a month, if ever. Coffee that was made by a Boatswains Mate at 2 AM and was nice and thick at 6. I am perfectly fine with a hot cup of black Folgers out of a well-seasoned mug nowadays. I've never had any coffee other than black and don't understand how all that latte fufu crap can even be called coffee.

I've drank all of it.... And will continue to.
I enjoy lattes....
I enjoy coffee literally made by boiling water and grounds and just trying to not pour the grounds in...
I enjoy triple strength instant coffee
I enjoy straight espresso...
I have had to chew my coffee... And not questioned why...

I knew a fellow 20 years ago that never washed his mug. It was so stained the running joke was he just added hot water and swirled it around a few times.

That chewy stuff they call cowboy coffee...

I like flavored creamers in my coffee most the time...

I really like a black cup of coffee with a heavy desert, but it has to be really good coffee...

I occasionally drink Armenian coffee... So far as I can tell it's just a very dark roast served no cream but enough sugar to give an elephant diabetes...

Same way Syrians drink their tea... So sweet...

Nah Opel... The cowboy coffee was intentional...

I meant I drank coffee that was supposedly made with a filter... But for some unknown reason was cold and chewy.... I still drank it.

have always liked black coffee, and prefer dark roast... that charred nutty real coffee flavor is lost when cream and or sugar is added...I'll have expressos, black only, occasionally when traveling...

knew a Greek when I was in college, and he brewed some great dark coffee, using a small Greek coffee maker... he served the thickish coffee in small shot-glass sized cups with handles...two little cups and the caffeine buzz was on...

Starbucks is the best commonly available "chain" coffee in the East.
Dunks is mediocre at best. Hell, Cumberland Farms has better coffee and at only $.99 all sizes.

Best Iced Coffee is Honey Dew (not honey pot). Don't know why, because their hot coffee is just average.

I agree that a corporation shouldn't be defined by one schmuck employee.
But Starbucks does seem to have a culture to foster this type of attitude.

I hope the employee was fired.
I'm surprised the police officers obliged.

A better plan would be this....

Police, nationwide, agree to never go to a Starbucks. Under any circumstances, off or on duty.

Publicize it.

Problem solved.
