I think if more people went out and actually saw this breathtakingly beautiful country of ours instead of fighting about it on the intertubes, the world would be a better place. I talked to a lot of people over the last few days and oddly enough, not once, did I hear anything political. Everyone was too busy enjoying the magnificent bounty that is the United States

I try to take at least two wilderness trips a year. It's an amazing feeling to be away from all the world's craziness and alone with the wild earth. Nothing else like it. Feels a million light years away...
Moving specifically to get closer to all I want to experience and explore. And spend as much time as I can there.
