This is a strange one. I am one of the elitists who mock many who smoke chitty and/or cheap cigars. And this is one cigar that even the chittiest cigar smokers turn their noses up at.
But I always have some of these on hand. These, along with Nick5K, CI Legend Graycliff, and a couple others are nearly perfect fishing cigars for me. They are decent flavor -- no complexity, but that's fine for fishing -- they burn exceedingly well even when ignored, or just hanging out of my mouth for ten or more minutes at a time. They never tar up -- they don't otherwise get nasty -- they stay lit- they are mild enough to chain smoke, box pressed, so don't roll around when you set them on the boat seat or kayak gunwhale. And they're often less than a buck a piece. I don't think there's another cigar at or below this price point that I don't dislike immensely.
