Did a 4 mile fast walk this morning in 90+. When your piss looks like Nehi orange soda and sinks to the bottom immediately you might be dehydrated.

I get that infection each summer. Water seems to clear it right up.

Picked another load of collard greens from the garden. Left a few leaves on each plant, hopefully I'll get another picking from them.

Gonna cook em with leftover pork butt. Never tried that before, but don't have a vehicle to get to the store for a ham hock.

Got a little rain, really stirred up the skeeters.

Took the boy to minigolf, he had a gift certificate. Got swarmed by the bloodsuckers.

Out on the deck now with a coating of DEET. Grilling chickens for dinner.

Don't wanna put too many veggies in drafters gut. One bean and one rice is plenty.

I've seen the videos... you'd be surprised what he fits up there...

or is "one bean and one rice" euphemism for some sort of 3-way?

Collard greens and grilled chickens.

Washed down with a few beers.

Shower, then nap on the couch. Back to work tomorrow.

Was back and forth on whether or not I would buy a new phone with the prime day deals.

Mine is 4 years old next month and slow as hell, but it still mostly works. Battery life is very poor, about 10 hours on a charge if I don't touch it. If I'm using it, about 2 hours.

I know I need a new one, but I just can't swallow that price tag.

Think I'm just gonna break the screen and take whatever they give me on insurance claim. That's how I've gotten every phone I've had for about 15 years is just taking whatever the insurance gives me.

Speaking of steals, I went to an estate sale yesterday and scored a Weber three burner grill almost new for $40. Looks like they go for over $400 retail. Going to take it up to the mountain house.
