One thing about being unable to work, when I can sit in a chair for a while, I do some deep YT diving for music. Lots of genres, but I'm a diehard prog rock fan. Cosmograf. Pretty good stuff. Especially in a state where you can partake in herb. I'd recommend a sativa-forward hybrid for this. Good stuff.

#2 Took me a long time to get into them, but I dig them now. If I listed every prog rock band I like, I'd probably bump into the character limit here. Just trying to drop a link here and there for a band I think someone else might enjoy. I encourage anyone to list some, however. Might be some I've missed, and I'm always looking for new tunes.

I remember Frog Rock - They were Roadkill Cafe until PETA got after them - now they're after Drafter.

I just never could get into Tool. Same with A Perfect Circle. Maynard is intense and has an amazing voice, but they get a bit too dirge-like for me some times. Just started getting into Muse Jan 1 this year. They are quite good.

I can run a list if anyone cares, but there are some really good old and new PR bands out there.

For you old schoolers, see an Alan Parsons show if you get a chance. Not often you get to see that level of musicianship, even if his partner has still wandered off.

I'm too old for this thread. I remember ELP, Yes and King Crimson. Some obscure ones I remember are Aphrodites Child, Bo Hanson and Nektar.

Dont recognize names in above posts (other than Parsons). Is prog rock on a second or third wave? I haven't been paying attention.
