Yep. Same blend. Buy the Honor. It donates to this cause:

CAO Honor. A partnership with Hope for Heroes, a certified 501 non-profit organization, the folks behind CAO, and CI Nation, CAO Honor is a limited edition release of the fan-favorite, 92-rated CAO America blend. Every box of CAO Honor directly contributes a donation towards Hope for Heroes, and helps thank those that risk everything to protect and serve our country and our freedom, whether they're firefighters, EMTs, police officers, or members of the Armed Forces.

Each size in this limited-edition offering honors one branch of service. Contained in each box, you'll find a bold, four-country long-filler mix of Dominican, Nicaraguan, Italian, and American tobaccos. The cigar delivers a rich, chewy profile, loaded with cream and oaky nuances, with a short, sweet finish. More importantly, by supporting CAO Honor, you'll support an organization designed to create experiences that are building a community of hope and healing for our everyday heroes.

Well, I guess that's one way of saying "many thanks". :P)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If they are donating a portion, at least that's better than the usual commercial nonsense. Same great product, new fantabulous packaging!

I hope they are finally shipping them in cello and/or improved shipping. I still remember being at a well-known Seattle B&M when they opened their very fist shipment of CAO America boxes. First box was so damaged it looked like a rodent had been nesting in it. Got an undamaged one, smoked it, and I was like [shrug].

.
I had the original release of the CAO America years ago. It was great. After that, they got much worse and ranged from crooked-burning and flavorless to straight-burning and flavorless (in my opinion and experiences).

I've noticed this with many CAO products, they are great at first, then turn not-so-great after awhile (again, my opinion and experiences).

Judge for yourself, though.

#10 Well, it doesn't come with the charitable angle, but one of the most reliable medium-bodied smokes, IMO, is always the CAO Black. You can always buy some of those, usually at a reasonable price, then donate to your local VA charity or military cause of choice.

There. Now General or whoever owns them doesn't have to take a hit out on me. Saved them $50.
