I saw this and was baffled.

I can't tell if it's a set-up.... or if the kid planned this... or if the president was just retarded?

But then the first lady put it on the kid's head too....

I watched it a few times and still have no idea why our world is so stupid that this occurred.

Don't know. Don't really care. It made me laugh. Especially the fact the kid is obviously baffled as to why the big cheeto didn't put anything in his sack

You are really imagining a lot. I've seen him laughed at for this (I guess you'd call it "mocked") but wow you really think they're "spitting on" him for this? No... there are much worse things he's done that cause them to "spit on" him.

As I said before, I saw behavior that seemed baffling to me. I don't know the reason he did this, nor was I willing to speculate.

You saw the video, and because of the little hearts you draw around his photo in your scrapbook you saw "whimsical". Despite there being zero historical precedent of him ever acting in a "whimsical" manner.

So which of us is living in a fictional world? The one who is attributing whimsy to an action by a person who has never been whimsical, or someone who simply looked at the behavior and said "I have no idea why that just happened".

My feelings about DT are pretty open but even I admit it was nice to see him laugh at something that was just silly. My wife saw the video and even she...who hates Trump waaaaay more than I do....laughed and said "That looks like something stupid you would do." The kid isn't hurt and it was just a dumb, silly thing. He gets a total pass from me on this one.

I agree it's dumb and silly. I just don't know what was going on there. I don't know if he was joking with the child. I don't know if he was confused as to what to do with the child... I don't know if he thought that was putin and was trying to bow.

He seemed confused... Melania seemed confused (and weirdly did the same thing as he did)...

I admit with more information it could be funny. I agree there was no actual harm.... like I said... it's just a WTF sort of situation... a "why can't one f$cking thing be just normal"....

Of course, tail sees it as his dear leader knighting Sir Minion with the traditional Hershey sword.
