Turns out my tires were about 4-5 lbs low... bought new tires for the wife's Explorer just a few months ago and there was 8 lbs more in the driver's side tire than the passenger side.. not very happy with the dealership.. Mad

Neglected my generator for a few months but got it fired up... hopefully I won't need it but it's good to go... main reason I got a duel fuel heat and air system.. only need 120v to run heat vs the heat pump.. which is still an option under normal conditions... Mellow

d'oh! Trying to trap 2 mice in the apt., set various traps & baited with peanut butter, cheese & special liquid supposedly better in place of both cheese & peanut butter. Basturds run out smell it & move on. d'oh!

you gotta just leave a plastic spoon with peanut butter on it sitting on the floor... Every night, toss the old spoon, replace with a new spoon... After a week, the mouse will trust you and trust your smell... That's when you put the plastic spoon in the mouse trap... Works every time...

Certainly some perks to apartment living. As long as you have a responsive maintenance department.

Went a whole winter without heat when I was renting. Well, they gave me some electric heaters and I didn't freeze, but the busted radiator pipe wasn't fixed for about 8 months.

Burnt loads of leaves yesterday from the deck, roof, gutters, drive and clearing.
Today, back in the deep freeze with everything covered in snow.

We've had maybe a handful of decent autumn days here...

Yup. Winterized the camper about a month earlier than usual. Our last trip out usually in early November and night temps are kissing low 40s but 55-60 and reasonably pleasant as long as we're active during the day.

This year I had it tarped before the leaves really even started falling

I just bought paint to paint the balusters on the front porch. Stripped and sanded them a few weeks ago but never got around to paint.

It's 8°F out right now. I don't think it's happening very soon.
